Hunan Park — Restaurant in Charlotte

My partner and I ordered from here 4 times for delivery on Prosperity Church. We are fairly giving people and agreed to order something different from the time before. This place is in a great retail shopping center and its a shamed they just dont deserve to be there. They need shut shop!!! I cant begin to say what to order or not order as I personally are not a picky eater and ill try something simple like sweet sour chicken to beef and broc and or chicken lomein...And like a egg or spring roll and the diff flavors of rice and the soups both chick rice and veggie. What a disappointment.. It was all just bad. The meat both chicken and beef had a wild gamey taste and was tough. The spring roll was dark brown ( now maybe egg role a golden brown) and was like i was eatting a paper towel dipped in OLD grease. I can go on and on and after this post im calling them.The best thing they have going is the delivery guy(s)gal(s).. We ordered $32.66 worth of food @ 6.42.01PM. Order # 141524 Server: Tony as well as tipped the del guy like 8 bucks after there del fee of a buck. I REALLY hope someone reads our review from management & or owners. You Hunan Park Chinese are not CUISINE. We will now drive out for pick up from the other 2 competitors in my opinion and they are at Cochran Commons and Berkley Place. Conclusion; I called Tony and He was a gentleman about the situation. He will cook us same thing for no fee. I told him everything that I have posted. I just merley wasnt demanding money or food I just wanted him aware of what he or they are serving. He just wanted our tummys to like what we are eatting. So I will advise as he sounded sincere and will cook us samething another day when we are ready ,...

Everything I’ve ever gotten from here has been delicious. Having been to many “ Americanized” Chinese restaurants. 🙄-seriously, people on here expect gourmet/upscale meals from casual restaurants. Gimme a break. You know the saying you get what you pay for? In this case the prices should be so much more. Having been to lots of Chinese restaurants in the Charlotte and surrounding area, this restaurant is the best. I equate it to Chinese restaurants in NYC. That’s a huge compliment bc if you know you know. The food is always flavorful and tastes fresh. They also always have given generous portions. When we order we know we will have enough for leftovers the next day. I have NEVER experienced any issues as far as customer service is concerned. I also have only been coming here since it became a take-out only restaurant. The people behind the counter have always been pleasant to me. Energies are real. You give what you get. I definitely...

I recently walked in at 11AM on a Sunday and discussed with the lady in charge of the front on how I might feed 15 people at about 12:30?

If you think it is possible to pull that off don’t be crazy ... chances are slim

Most of the local restaurants will just laugh at you and tell you tough luck.

My lucky Sunday! I picked out some dishes which were professionally packed to serve at my last minute buffet at my house.

All I can tell you is every single visitor to my house that Sunday thought I must have special connections to be able to pull off the spectacle that I presented them.

Spent less than $100 and I tipped $20 which was well worth it!

Another Sunday I took the exact same crew to a Japanese restaurant and it cost me over $250 not including the tip. Several participants told me they enjoyed the Hunan Park takeout at home more than the Japanese...
