This was my go to Starbucks in the area. But unfortunately something has happened: the last 3 times I’ve went coffee has been wrong or basically just milk with minimal coffee. It’s sad to see bc this place used to be VERY consistent I would actually drive 20 min out of the way bc I knew they would get my coffee right and a welcoming environment. But it has shifted over the past few months and after being a regular customer today was probably my last order. I ordered my coffee per usual and wanted a “side of cold foam” (bc if you get it in the drink it’s so inconsistent and the whole drink or half the drink is cold foam) and the guy manager doesn’t know how to ring this up besides to “charge it as a full drink and then add it on” (even tho I wouldn’t be getting the drink they would charge me this way and just give me the cold foam). I didn’t understand bc I’ve done this so much and it was $1-$2 and he rings it up as $7 for a side of cold foam and $14 for 2 sides of cold foam. LOL. I just went to a different location bc he “wasn’t able to ring it up separately.” I think they have just gotten to busy or just don’t care about the orders anymore bc I haven’t been able to get a perfect coffee in awhile unfortunately and my experience yesterday I ordered online 20 min before arrival and I had to wait an additional 10 min when I arrived (the app said 11 mins to make the order), after this wait coffee was wrong and looked white as milk but didn’t have time to wait and the line was insane so I winded up...
Read moreI’m a huge Starbucks lover- I’ve had a gold card since 2008- but this was by far my worst experience with Starbucks. Part of our order was a piece of pumpkin loaf; when we were at the counter ordering I even turned to my friend next to me, asked if I should get pumpkin loaf or a bagel, and then she responded pumpkin loaf, so I said I’d have a slice of pumpkin loaf. I say all this because after waiting longer than normal for my pumpkin loaf, I went back up to the register to check on its status and the cashier informed me I’d ordered lemon loaf. When I told her I’d ordered pumpkin loaf she told me I was wrong and had ordered lemon loaf. I’ve never had the lemon loaf before, never even said lemon in a Starbucks, so I was dumb-struck that this woman was insisting I’d ordered lemon loaf. Rather than sit there and argue with her further (we had a 10.5 hour drive ahead of us) I took what she gave me and left. I rarely have issues at Starbucks, but when they do happen the baristas bend over backwards to fix it. That definitely wasn’t the case here, and I’m highly disappointed. I’ll never come back to this location, and would recommend you go to the one across the street in the Harris Teeter if you’re in the area. Most of the experience was normal- my friends’ and my drinks were perfect- so I didn’t give this only one star, but I was very disappointed by the...
Read moreThis was my favorite location until recently. My frapp order is kind of complex but customizable on the app. I always get one pump of frapp roast. They typically add too many pumps and I will have to come back and have it remade. I would also request for Cameron to make my order, as I felt like he created magic. Well the last couple of times I patronized this location he has been very RUDE. Listen… it is not my fault that the staff at this location has an issue with following directions and execute as expected. This is a service and product that I’m paying for. If I wanted a cookie cutter product and subpar service, I would’ve went to McDonald’s. As of late, McDonald’s has exceeded my expectations. McDonald’s is now my place of choice when ordering Frappuccino’s. They are consistent. I know to expect an attitude and pull around to wait on a drink… but hey it’s McDonald’s. The upside is I leave and can consume my drink without having to make an extra trip for a remake. McDonald’s is also a fraction of the price. If you come here, make sure Cameron is far away from your cup. If not, expect plenty attitude and dry customer service. Employees can make or break a business. I refuse to spend my hard earned money on what is mostly ice and water, and receive something I didn’t order as well as an attitude when I want it made...
