Today was my 4th and LAST time ever going to this Juice Bar. The first 3 times I came I gave the Owner the benefit of the doubt! Like maybe he’s just a hard worker and isn’t always sociable. However, I was completely wrong, he’s just RUDE! The first 3 times I supported this BLACK OWNED BUSINESS was on my 12pm lunch break, (might I add I always brought great positive energy, dancing while he made my order and everything). On my third visit I asked the Owner the business hours, because they were not listed on his business cards. He told me he’s open from 9am-7pm Mon-Sat and 12pm-5pm on Sunday’s! Today which is a Wednesday I arrived at 6:38pm and had to finish up a quick phone call before walking into the Juice Bar. (I didn’t want to be rude and loud inside of his business). Unfortunately, as soon as I walked into the Juice Bar he immediately told me to hurry up and order because he was closing and I should’ve been ordering instead of standing outside on my phone call. SMH it was ridiculous and offensive, I was really looking forward to getting a green juice. I’ve been FULLY RAW VEGAN FOR 10 days now. (Might I add again that it takes him no more than 5 mins MAX to make that juice. I’ve had it on my previous visits)
P.S. I am not writing this review to kick the Owners back in but his customer service is VERY poor. It was 6:38pm and he told me himself he close at 7pm! We were face to face when I asked what the hours were, he did not say “I close at 7pm but we don’t take orders after 6:30pm, it was a flat 7pm. I even reiterated back to him to be sure. That’s why I was so let down by how he greeted me when I walked through the door this evening. Also, after bringing to his attention that he informed me his business closes at 7pm, he then decides to tell me not to get there any later than 6:30pm. Which means he really closes at 6:30 and cleans up from 6:30-7pm. Peace. Love and Abundance. The key to a successful business is GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Y’all be...
Read moreWas disappointed today. My açaí bowl was delicious but almost didn’t order it. The countertops were dirty. There was a clipboard and used face mask where the food should have been displayed. But then those bins were empty and there were crumbs all over it and under it. Could you place a covering over this if you’re not using it so it looks nice and presentable? The stainless steel had fingerprints all over it. Should be wiped down hourly especially in a pandemic. The granola was poured from a Nature Valley bag that was probably purchased at a local grocery store. Maybe you could transfer it to a nice canister with a scoop? The music was blasting and had to call out for someone to take our order. The same gloved hands used to fix our food was used to grab a pen and write the order down and then she continued to fix our food. The times handwritten on the door seemed to have been rained on. Could you reprint that? If you want to stay in business you have got to do better. I support Black and minority owned but you’ve got to...
Read moreI actually love this place! I always vibed with the owner & appreciated the fresh options. I just knew I would be a regular because I’m big on vibes & appreciate good/healthy food options. Today I walked in at 6:45 pm & wasn’t greeted with a “hey, how are you” but more of an aggravated “you know we close in 15 mins right” as if I didn’t have time before the establishment closed to place an order. I understand I came in with only 15 mins to spare however I still had 15 mins to place an order! You never know what kind of things people are dealing with so treat them with kindness! That should be be hard especially towards your paying customers. I don’t want to spend my money somewhere where I’m greeted with aggravation as if me spending my money at your place of business is a problem.
I still purchased my smoothie bowl & threw it away as soon as I walked out because I still wanted to support this black owned juice spot. It’s enough going on in the world, I don’t need the negative energy & with that I will...
