Massage Envy — Attraction in Charlotte

I went onto the website and it states buy one get one free. This is a total scam. I called prior to going to the location and asked if the buy one get one free promotion could be used the same day and was told that yes I could. When I arrived the manager stated that the buy one get one free could not be used at the same time. I then proceeded to pay and she stated that I would have to pay another $115.00 dollars to get the buy one get one free promotion. So basically I bought 3 massages for 180 dollars and they wanted me to pay 115 dollars to get the "Free" massages. This place is a complete scam and I would never ever recommend going here ever in your life. Please take down the buy one get one free promotion if you are not going to adhere to your own promotion. Oh and one more thing the manager laughed at me when I stated that I did not want to pay 115 dollars for the free massages. The audacity of the manager was completely outrageous. I drove all the way from myrtle beach and wanted to have a good experience for my girlfriend and her sisters. I feel betrayed lied to and frankly humiliated. I left a pretty substantial tip for the employees because I did not want the staff giving the massages to suffer for the incompetency of the management and the lies that the website state. Don't Waste Your Time

Massage Envy Southpark had cancelled two couples massage sessions without offering solutions or alerting the other party of the couple there would no longer be a couples massage. I was the one who had to make contact with the store to alert them it is no longer a couples massage if only one person is present. Communication and customer service is almost nonexistent. It's understandable sometimes things come up, therapist get sick, quit (in our case), and other things. However, this store did not offer any type of solution or contact the other party in the couple. Even after I contacted the store the first time, they offered no solution at all. Just "Sorry, he quit". I had to suggest we reschedule to another date and time. We did reschedule and the second time they also cancelled. This time they confirmed my appointment but did not offer any solution until I told them to cancel my appointment. Even then, no solution. The manager finally called me after a text I sent about the poor customer service and bad business practices. At this point, she offered a facial, but only at this point, hours later. There was no offer of a facial when they cancelled the first appointment or when I cancelled the second appointment. Only AFTER I complained in the text and also on the Massage Envy website.

Save yourself the headache. There are way too many options in Charlotte for massage at the same or better price that will give you better customer service and...

I went here today a v day self care day for me. The receptionist was welcoming and greet me and got me set up on time. The issue came when my massage therapist came and retrieved me From the waiting room late. From there, he proceeded to take me to the room and have me get ready to get the massage then upon him returning took another 5 to 7 minutes mind you my appointment is at 4 o’clock. We’re now looking at 4:15. At this point, I am very unhappy because I know they’re probably not going to extend me extra minutes for me waiting just because they were behind. He actually finished up before 5 o’clock finished up around 455 and not only were they late on bringing me back the massage was very rough and rushed. Absolutely felt like I wasted my time today and could’ve have done without the massage. I have never experienced this before with a massage envy. As much as I wanted to be highly upset, I still have to compose myself. The receptionist was very good on asking me. How was it ? and I told her about my experience and the manager assisted me with accommodations on the payment even though this was very helpful. I don’t think I will be returning to this location unless things are handled differently or with any other massage envy. I do highly recommend dr. Zen here in Charlotte he is way better and...
