Definitely not a kid friendly place and definitely won't ever go back. Went on Halloween weekend and it was an absolute disaster. The hostess was completely clueless and rude. Our server was not helpful and lacked severely in the communication department. Our spring rolls came out with a long black hair wrapped on it. Also, the tail was left on the shrimp and my son nearly ate it. There was no offer to take it off our tab, only a remake that was honestly made sloppy and lack luster. She also handed us the plate and was like "oh and there's peanuts in the sauce. I hope you're not allergic." Seriously!? You should always confirm allergies before an order is placed! Then our dinner came out. I ordered shrimp for my son and asked for shrimp sauce. Instead of telling me that they were out, they gave us Sriracha mayo. I didn't think to check it because they look similar. My son started complaining that the sauce was spicy. After testing it myself, I found out it was the wrong sauce. My son told the waitress and she just stated "yeah, sorry, we're out of the shrimp sauce." I looked at her and asked her why she didn't bother to tell us that it was spicy mayo and not shrimp sauce. No answer was given. I used to love this place but after that night, I'll never visit again. And a side note about the hair: I worked in the food industry. Put your damn hair up! It's gross. You don't go to work to look sexy. You are there to serve and hair is not...
Read moreWent in to do a delivery and had a staff all but accuse me of stealing my delivery. I literally just spotted it by name, sitting on a bar and stopped on my way from the restroom to see if the food or order number was a match AS WELL. Had a staff walk up briskly and I say to her “I think this is my order but I can’t tell by the food.” She immediately says “Well can we atleast check it first.” Her statement presupposed I wasn’t in the middle of doing that or wasn’t going to. Not to mention it was said rudely and condescendingly. I let her know I always check my orders first and don’t just grab them. She tried to save face and say “Well names can be the same” Something I also knew since Im the delivery driver thats been doing this for years not her.
I ended up going back in and returning the food to not be delivered and letting her know it’s not okay to speak to drivers that way. Her response was “well I just wanted to verify everything and sometimes drivers just grab food” and that let me know she allowed her prejudice to affect me. So because of her experience with bad drivers she thinks it okay to have an attitude and accost other drivers and treat us as thieves. It only makes me wonder how else she applies this logic. Ofcourse she didn’t see the error in HOW she spoke to me and did not apologize because she felt her intent meant more than her offensive impact. I will never deliver from...
Read moreWent there for lunch today because I was hoping to try it out before my husband and I went together for dinner. Upon walking in the staff largely ignored me so I just went to the bar. When I sat down it took a while but a young woman had come up to me and I got something to drink and made an order. It took 25 minutes for one small role to come out and I was not the only one having trouble because the table behind me had waited 40 minutes for ramen. When I finally got my salmon roll it was certainly nothing special and tasted very much like something I would have gotten at any sushi shop around the country. If you want some amazing sushi you might wanna try soul gastro or Yamazaru. I kept looking around for my waitress because I neede the check but she was nowhere to be found so I asked the manager who is not dressed in uniform clothes but plainclothes. He didn't wanna get the check for me so he found someone else and was very upset and asked to my waitress was and I didn't know her name. I'm really disappointed to say that my husband I will not be going there since there are so many great sushi options in this awesome city of ours. I know he will be disappointed because they apparently have a world...
