Mery Mi Salon — Attraction in Charlotte

I took my girls here to get my oldest hair done for her 18 th bday tomorrow. Decided I would get mine done as well. 1. Sat down to get shampooed had to ask lady clean sink was visibly dirty from last client.2. No cape used. 3. Had tell her which products use for best outcome for my hair.( colored treated hair should use color treatment shampoo and conditioner) 4. She went to comb my hair with visibly dirty comb that other lady just used on a client. ( now I watched them with the combs from his point) after finishing with my comb she used it on two other clients.5. Another client after me sat to be shampooed stylist just finish eating lunch rinse her lunch bowl in the shampoo bowl sat it to side started shampooing client didn’t even clean shampoo bowl before starting her.(you never wash food dishes or whatever in a hair use only sink)5. Customer that was receiving relaxer not only had to tell them how put relaxer in she had to ask for protective cream. Then she comb relaxer through hair rinse it out left relaxer all in front client complained wasn’t out then took her back to rinse it out .same client had to ask her get Excess relaxer off her face ears and skin.6. They don’t deal with clients to great and there concerns or what client wants at all barely understand what your explaining to them.7. While there , couple clients left even one got so upset she was fussing and pulling her clips out her hair and crying. How she didn’t like her hair and it feels so rough.clips got picked up and not sanitized just reused on other clients hair after being on floor.7. Every single brush in drawers was dirty with other ppl hair in them from blow drying when they open drawers grab brushes.Even after voicing concerns they didn’t really Acknowledge or even try to go clean the utensils . 8. Open Corona bottles on the shelf with products.9 left sitting under dryers awhile just waiting even after mentioning your hair is dry.10 not even a sitting area outside of if you sit in a dryer seat or stylist seat and just wait . Me and my daughter hair is natural they barely use protection I had give the lady a bottle which was my hint to her . So they obviously don’t know much about naturals and to protect curl patterns and not burn hair. She didn’t even know to use a little foam while rolling my hair or to use it set my sides to lay dwn while under dryer until I said something.My first time and last time sanitation was my biggest issues with them u can’t just use same brushes,combs,and clips person to person. They have barbicide but wait to put combs in it after multiple people use instead of using after each person. If I have to tell you clean your utensils then I don’t need be there and let’s not forget that not one employee wore a mask in this salon.We are in a pandemic at least all there clients had enough sense to wear one there isn’t even a sign up stating wear a mask. They do not have set prices, they just tell you how much you owe them at the end regardless of the previously said price and rip you off when you know the general prices of the services!!! SCAMMERS!! Their work is BEYOND MEDIOCRE and their customer service is TERRIBLE!!! (Disgusting actually). THEY HAVE “RELAXING” or “TAMING” CHEMICALS in their products that will damage your curls!! Even the shampoo and conditioner!! I had a sew in and needed a wash, straighten, layer and curl ONLY!! Nothing processed! Their CHEMICAL SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER COMPLETELY RUINED MY NATURAL CURLS ON MY LEAVE OUT AREAS!!!! COMPLETELY RUINED!!! Even though their stuff is in their factory bottles, they recycle products and mix in their own! I WILL NEVER EVER EVER GO HERE AGAIN AND YOU BEST BELIEVE IM SPREADING MY STORY AND WHAT THEY DID TO MY HAIR EVERY TIME THEIR AWFUL SALON COMES UP IN CONVERSATION. BEYOND UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNSKILLED! Plus stylists come and go all the time. I wonder why! DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR PRECIOUS HAIR OR YOUR MONEY UNLESS YOU’RE THEIR FRIEND!! If they don’t want to “do all of that” and service you as you require/request, they will have an attitude towards you for the remainder of your service, tell you that they did what you asked (knowing they did not) and still up charge you for it. I never thought I would be saying this but DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS SALON. I have been straightening my hair for a while however, I still maintained my natural curls. Then I came to this salon and my curls are DAMAGED. MY ROOTS ARE COMPLETELY STRAIGHT. When I told the hairstyle he was putting way too much heat on my hair she simply said, “It needs to be hot this hot if you want your hair straight.” NO IT DOES NOT MY HAIR NEARLY BRURNED OFF. I washed my hair today and clunks of my hair fell out. DO NOT. I REPEAT. I DONT KNOW HOW MANY TIMES I CAN SAY THIS. DO NOT EVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES GO TO THIS SALON FOR A BLOW OUT/ SILK PRESS.
