I hate to leave negative reviews but I was underwhelmed with my experience here today. There was back and forth about my appointment time that I booked and paid over 40% in advance for. Crystal confirmed it was at 12 but the office was telling me 12:30. When asking her to double check because she gave me conflicting information, she told me to call the office. I have no problem calling the office but the reason I asked her to confirm was because the office told me a different time. That was frustrating but not a huge deal.
I arrive to my appointment 15 minutes early to check in. I intentionally did this because every time I come here (3 times) the massage ends up starting 10 mins later than scheduled but finishes on time. Usually I do an hour so it isn’t a huge deal but I booked 30 mins today. When I was checking in, the receptionist ran out crying because a coworker made a rude comment to her. The therapist was trying to figure out how to check her previous appointment out but it took longer than expected because she didn’t know how to cash them out. If only she hadn’t been rude to the receptionist who knows how to do this..
My massage was okay but wasn’t amazing. I added scraping and the therapist said it was her first time doing it. My entire left arm and neck are in even more pain than I went there with.
This whole experience was stressful. The massage felt rushed, the staff was clearly overwhelmed, and the response I got from Crystal helps me understand why they are. Everyone should be able to enjoy vacation but prepare your staff in advance.
Can’t believe I spent $90 after tip for a rushed 30 minute massage that left me...
Read moreBooked a 90 min. couples massage based on all the good reviews for my boyfriend’s birthday. We were so looking forward to it as he does physical labor all day long & I was just overdue for one. We filled out all the paperwork & told the masseuses areas we wanted them to focus on & avoid, etc. My massage: I said I wanted them to focus on my shoulders and neck but made sure to put on the paper & told him in person that I had an prior injury to the right side of my neck so to please be gentle. He rubbed my shoulders, back, and neck for what felt like an eternity..to the point that my skin was raw. I thought about telling him to move on but anxiety in those situations tend to take over. He eventually did move on to other areas but it all seemed rushed & chaotic. My boyfriend’s massage: he asked for attention to be paid to his low back and that was completely avoided. All attention was paid to his shoulders. Then in the middle of the massage I hear his masseuse ask him if he wanted him to rub his feet. That wasn’t marked as a place to avoid on his sheet so isn’t that just a basic? Overall it was weird and I was disappointed, especially for the price point. They reached out via text to rate our experience so I let them know and was emailed by the owner, Crystal, who offered us 2 45min massages to make up for it. Obviously I was very grateful and surprised by that generosity but since trying to book a day to come in for those I have received no further response and essentially have been ghosted by Crystal. Kinda just rubbed more salt in the...
Read moreI was not impressed. Parking on the street right in front was easy, finding the place inside wasn't too bad. The doors were open, there is no one at the front desk, there is someone's lunch that looked like it had been left for a while on the desk, and I go there early as requested, I grabbed a chocolate and sat down on the stained bench... kinda gross. Either way.. sat there for 15 minutes waiting on someone to come to the front desk and nothing. I started to get a sheet of paper and write them a note asking for a refund when 2 girls walked out of a room together giggling. I thought they were clients maybe... they didn't greet me or anything but one of them walked around the back of the desk and proceeded to say " are you here for an appointment?" I said yes it was at 1:15 and she said "yea she's only 6 mins late" (referring to the girl that walked out of the room with her) I was waiting for them to ask me if I had any areas that I wanted them to concentrate on or anything normal when you go to a massage appointment. Nothing.. took me back to the room, very uncomfortable. She threw hot stones on me.. I had no idea my massage came with that as she didn't explain anything that was going on. The table was uncomfortable and the face towel was very itchy. Needless to say the place needs to be cleaned up and they need a manager or someone staffed for the front desk. The front desk person shouldn't also be giving massaged or whatever they were doing on their lunch break. I would...
