🚨 Hey Charlotte, big news! 🚨 Costco is opening its fourth Charlotte-area store on October 30th at The Exchange at Indian Land along Highway 521. Here’s what you need to know: It’s a massive 161,000-square-foot warehouse, all on one floor. There’s also a fuel center for members on the go. The site is 28 acres, and it’s part of a bigger mixed-use development with apartments, townhomes, and more retail. This expands Costco’s presence in Charlotte beyond Mooresville, Matthews, and the original Charlotte location. You’ll be able to shop bulk groceries, electronics, and your favorite brand-name items closer to home. Plus, the development is bringing in other stores too — like Lowes Foods and even a steakhouse coming soon. Fun fact: Costco made nearly $270 billion in sales last year and runs over 900 warehouses worldwide. 🔥 Bottom line: Charlotte shoppers, more space, more selection, and more convenience is coming your way. So, tell me — will you be checking out the new Costco when it opens?

I stay here quite a lot for the simple fact that some of the rooms, like the Presidential series and a few others have a "conference room" INSIDE of the room equipped with a large table and even a quite large television for meetings and demonstrations.

The rooms as you would expect are spectacular and meticulously cleaned and thoroughly sanitized. Most offer very good views of Uptown Charlotte and how great the city has come to look. The Presidential rooms have 4 separate rooma each. A large living area, equipped with stellar entertainment options a nice comfortable couch, great TV and sound and even a home like coffee table. The kitchen isnt perse separate but it is well divided from the conference room/dining area by a bar with good seats, a full size fridge, stove and oven. The dining area/slash conference or.meeting room is separate from the living area by a very nice wall with shelves on it, I do a LOT of demonstrations here for my Uptown clients and have had up to 9 people including me comfortably seated in it. It has a huge display for presentations and Skype calls and many more business accomodations. It doesn't leave you wanting for anything more. The guest bathroom is comfortably sized but I do wish it were slightly bigger but overall nice. The bedroom sits behind its own door and is, as you would expect, marvelous to be in. Everything from the bed to the what I call the study and meditation area are just wonderful. I live in this city and usually just use rooms during working hours to meet with clients and get away from home where I usually work, but I actually SLEEP at this hotel. It seriously outdoes my own home bedroom. And I love my bedroom. The private bath is marvelous and is handicapped equipped which I need and best of all. It is white glove clean.

I don't usually interact with the staff much but it's sad to say that they give me a bad look and are even slightly irritated when i come to stay here. Now I am a music producer, DJ and software developer but I do dress the part of a dubstep/trap/electronic music producer which I understand may impact their image. No one has ever actually been rude to me. But unless I'm button downed and clean shaven I get snotty looks each and every time, but a flat bill hat and unkempt beard will do that to a man I guess.

Location. ITS UPTOWN. There IS NO OTHER LOCATION. My entire world from production, to DJing to coding for clients like Duke Energy exists here. I don't eat food unless Uptown exists. And this hotel is slap dab IN THE MIDDLE of it. It the best located hotel in Charlotte in my opinion.

This review is very specific to the more upscale rooms I know, the in room meeting area is worth every penny, however I can say that the other rooms offer the very same care and love for cleanliness and wonderful views and...

Terrible service, incompetenet hotel staff, and untrustworthy management.

Arrived on June 11th after finding out that the Marriott Booked us in the completely wrong hotel. Upon arrival we had to wait 30 minutes to get into our room when we were promised 3pm (it was 1130pm , as there was about 60 people drinking and wasted outside of the hotel. Once in our rooms, the noise was so loud I had to run and grab earplugs due to my children not being able to sleep. Went to leave the next morning and the Service tried rushing my kids (6, 7, and 9) and us out of the hotel. Upone driving a to a nearby coffee shop I got out of my car to grabe my wallet I left in my luggage. When I walked back up to my passenger seat I noticed the entire right side of my 2021 Cadillac Escalade was completely damaged and the step up had been ripped off. I went back to the hotel where the guys already knew why I was back. The manager immediately came out and the girls at the service desk reassured me my entire night would be covered, the valet service manager reassured me that they would fix it. Three months later after having to call the police station, get my insurance involved and contact marriott customer service my car had finally been approved to go into the shop. My night was not reimbursed, it was like pulling teeth to get their insurance to fix my vehicle and my insurance went up due to their irresponsibility. When I tried to call them to see what they could do for the hardship I had to go through due to them, they have ignored me, changed their phone numbers ( yes the managers personal cell that they gave me after 2 months of dealing with the insurance was switched). This hotel not only lies to their customers, their customer service is a complete joke and Marriott should be dissapointed in the service this hotel provides. I wish I could give this place a negative 15 stars. I will never go back here nor would I recommend anyone else.

The reponse I have continued to receive from marriott makes it seem like they care or are doing their due diligence:"We are truly sorry to hear about your experience, we have sent your feedback to our team and someone will be getting back with you." This is not the case, in fact not one person has reached out to me since June, to include dealing with the issues THEY caused. I had to reach out to multiple people and once I informed them the police would be involved is the only reason I received a call back.

If anyone shall comment on this with questions I am more than happy to provide proof of the noise (even recorded it on my phone), the correspondence back and forth, the broken promises and the photo evidence of the drunken mass that stood outside of this hotel. Absolutely the worst hotel experience I have ever...

Went for an oncology conference for a long weekend. First, consider that a 5 star hotel is the highest rating. Now, this hotel is rated 4 stars, just below the highest rating. I have stayed in countless holiday in express rooms and many other "lower end" hotels that made this place look ghetto. The outside and the check-in area are beautiful, but that is where the positive attributes stop. The rooms, especially for the price, were extremely dated and worn. Nearly every piece of furniture in the room was heavily worn on par with the worst rooms I have ever witnessed. The couch had several mysterious "grease" stains loud and apparent when i walked in. The corners of the table, desk, etc. were chipped and tops scuffed and stained. The dust on certain surfaces like where the coffee maker was, were so dusty they dirtied my clothes when I brushed against them in passing. The coffee maker did not work, and the hotel does not offer any complimentary coffee area or breakfast unless you pay to upgrade to a club membership. My stay was after much rain from a hurricane, so I may excuse the following issue, but there was a severe humidity problem in my room #1026. When I touched the bedding, it was extremely moist on top and inside the sheets. The temperature control was also faulty, moving from extreme hot to extreme cold when changing the thermostat in a range of 4 degrees. I thought the bedding looked decent, standard white hotel comforter and sheets but when I woke the next morning and the sheets were untucked and crumpled I realized there were gigantic yellow stains on the areas that were tucked away the night before. I realize it is not the hotels fault but the area it is in is packed with homeless humans who will aggressively ask for money and one of whom urinated on the sidewalk no less than 10 feet from me as I walked. I also hated the car hostage situation. Valet is the only option, and the cost is somewhere around $50 per day. You have no access to your car without a 15-minute text notice. I have experience with the valet system, but at night, here they took forever, and the valet was arguing aloud with other people checking in. I could go on, but I feel I've given fair warning... stay ANYWHERE ELSE. I gave 2 stars because that is the rating this facility deserves objectively. It's not a crack hotel, but a 3 star hotel will provide double the luxury at one- fifth of the price. In the interest of fairness, I must say they have a really, really nice gym on the 5th floor with a great variety...
