This review is specifically for anyone considering a birthday party here. Our daughter attended a party at Hamilton Skate months ago and was excited to have her own birthday here. Honestly, I would not recommend it. Online it states you can arrive 10 minutes early to set up for your party but they schedule parties from 1-4 on sundays and don’t open until 1. That means we were just standing in the waiting area with cakes and decorations while staff wandered in and we weren’t able to actually get set up before any guests got there at 1. Also note, if you’re having a party here do not expect any help with getting kids situated with putting on their skates or anything like that. No help or follow up in the party room once they drop off pizza and a pitcher of soda for 21 kids. They also forgot to announce my kids name along with the other birthday announcements which kind of irked me and upset her. For nearly $500, it’s just not worth the slice of pizza, tiny cup of soda and little to no birthday acknowledgment the kid gets. Honestly if anyone would’ve asked how things were going, expressed any desire to help or offered a happy birthday to the birthday girl I may be less salty but if you chose to have your kids birthday here, be prepared to pay a premium for a pretty stressful experience. We’ve had all our other kids parties at the childrens museum, zoo, UTC pool and red bank bounce and paid less for a much better/less stressful time all around. Also be aware it gets insanely crowded with adults and big kids who literally shove smaller kids to the ground and there is zero intervention by staff. You will not have a “party host” helping you, you will have someone drop off pizza and a pitcher and then they will spend the rest of the time skating. Would not recommend doing a kids party here unless you don’t care about minimal staff interaction and have fewer than 10 kids over the age of 10, who aren’t...

Read moreAfter reading some of these horrible comments I feel I should have my say as well. I was there the night that this little girl was asked to leave. She was on the floor for more than an hour and she participated in the races. She would go and stop suddenly then whip her chair around and go the wrong way. She was reckless on the floor; she had no care for anyone else. Yes, there are kids, at times, that skate that way but something is said to them, just like it was with this girl. No one was called out for any reason other than the normal reasons. If you are not going the correct direction or you are cutting through from one side to the other you will be asked to follow the rules. If you still do not follow the rules you will be asked to leave. This business has the obligation to make a safety call for all people not one person. If this scout troop had done a private party nothing would have been said to the girl. People are only in an uproar because this girl is in a wheelchair and her dad was in the military. This is very uncalled for. This little girl and her dad are normal people like...
