Everbowl offers healthy snacks and superfood bowls that you can customize to your liking, with a variety of fruit, grain, and protein options to choose from. My partner pushed me to try them out with him the other day, and I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty their bowl options were. I got the Full Moon bowl and customized it to my liking (for an upcharge, of course), choosing to forego the peanut butter for one of the other ingredients they had to choose from. The concept is a lot like how Subway gives you a menu to choose from but then allows you to "make it your way," which in my case was without the peanut butter. I was a little disappointed to discover that any variation from the menu meant I had to pay an upcharge on something that's already priced like the "craft superfood" motto suggests, but I did end up liking the end result. All the fruit was very fresh and the smoothie/fro-yo mixture was very creamy, leading to a dessert-like mixture that still felt fresh and healthy. My only disappointment was that there weren't more options to choose from to replace the nut butters, which made it a lot harder for me to make something I'd like. My partner got almond butter which seemed to bring everything together a lot better on his Everbowl, and there didn't seem to be an option for me that didn't involve nuts. They may have had some options that I wasn't aware of, but the way the toppings bar was laid out meant I couldn't easily pick out what was what.
TL;DR - this is a great place to get a great superfood snack. If you can swallow the $10+ price tag on the Everbowls, I think you'll want to stop in! For me, this seems a little too expensive (especially for a small bowl), but all healthy food comes at a higher price and this place...
Read moreSummary: Good food, but POS machine that asks for tips, regardless of dine in or out.
Long version: I've been here three times–The bowls I got were quite tasty, and staff are friendly, (especially the main guy I talked to twice). Also, everything being vegan-friendly is awesome. (They do have whey for the gym-goers, but only by request)
Only issue is that they have one of those POS (read whichever way you want) machines that asks for a tip before you can pay. No problem with the guy, but last time I came in there was a lady and 15% was magically selected. I'm ok with traditional tips, and maybe I should have given one to the awesome guy there, but having one auto selected (or selected by the worker?) seems sus. More importantly, it gives me anxiety. Do they not pay their workers enough and make them rely on tips? (Did I deprive that poor guy of his reasonable wage?) Do they pay ok but expect that everyone in customer-facing food service should automatically get tips now, anyway? Or is it just an additional option and the worker was trying to snipe some extra cash that time? I'm used to the idea of only routinely tipping for sit-down, full-service dining or complex, modified orders, so these machines give me anxiety.
The last experience has left me reluctant to return because of the machine (and maybe the last person who made my bowl?), despite the genuinely good food and...
Read moreI’ve been coming into everbowl for about a month now but my mother in law has been coming in for quite a while now . I have noticed that recently there are two employees who are quite rude to customers and even ruder to their co workers . I wasn’t going to say anything because I know that some people just have bad days but this has become a constant thing. When I asked for her name she said “ you can contact my boss here it’s on this card ” and practically threw a business card at me . I told my MIL about this and she told me that she knew this girls name because she had overheard another employee talking to her . The next day she watched this girl (hayden) sit down and complain , leaving her coworker to deal with the multiple customers and online orderings she said that the co worker called Hayden by her name and asked for help and that she replied “ I’m about to leave ” this isn’t the only time I’ve dealt with irritable employees but I hate to say it because the bowls are just so good ! However , must be addressed by upper management . I know others have left reviews prior to mine but it seems that nothing has been done . I would hate to stop coming to everbowl because of this , it’s the only place I can get a quick easy vegan snack after a long...
