No local phone number. No ticket prices listed. No way to find out.
The phone number listed, is incorrect, as it is to a national level generic phone menu system that is of no use whatsoever...unless YOU want to know only what THEY want to tell you!!
Movie theaters have always been extremely hard to get on the phone, and were not always very helpful when you finally did, but at least you COULD eventually get someone to pick up.
This place apparently has eliminated even that much.
Oh, and btw, I don't want food or drinks included in the price, as one commenter mentioned, nor do I care particularly about leather seats or reclining.
I DO care about large "real IMAX", as opposed to small "lie-MAX" screens. And I DO very much care about good topend Dolby Atmos and Vision, and Dolby Total Cinema Experience, and I will pay a bit extra for that, but not for food, especially since it would be stuff I probably have no business eating anyway, and wouldn't be buying either in or out of a theater.
Meanwhile, I still don't know what the various ticket prices are, and am not going to drive over there just to find out something I should be able to either see in an Android app, or online (correct ticket prices too, not some generic & out date information)...or should be able to call them and find out. So I'm not going to see anything.
I was really wanting to see Dr Strange in IMAX 3D, but apparently I missed the five minutes it was available that way...assuming it ever was anywhere around here. Now it's only available 2D. I was curious about seeing the Star Wars movie 3D. But the ticket prices at "Hamilton Place 10-17", have probably increased since I was there last, and for "upgrades" that I don't care about...so they're probably off my list since I tend to oscillate between the dollar theaters for movies I don't have to see in 3D, and as close as I can get to "real" IMAX around here (Eastgate I think), for the movies that really should be seen 3D & on the biggest screen possible.
I really wish there was a real IMAX theater around here, with Dolby Atmos & Dolby Vision...and that they turned the lights off ENTIRELY. Maybe have motion sensors that sequentially turned on small LEDs a few feet ahead of your feet as you walked if you needed to see to walk out while the movie is playing...or something like that.
If all this was done, then I might begin to care about leather recliners. Also would be nice, and more important, to have Tasers built in to the seats that were controlled by decibel detectors, and zapped teenagers and others into unconsciousness, who yap and laugh with each other while the movie is playing. Automatic "Sound Activated Self-Tasing" leather recliners....now I WOULD pay extra for that feature...with or without the leather OR recliner aspects.
(Now you kids get off my damn...

I changed the star rating from one to three because the situation was resolved to some extent. While the teens didnât receive a refund, they were given movie passes, and Iâm grateful they received something in return. That said, I still wish the situation had been handled more smoothly from the start.
Original Post:
I would give Regal less than one star if that were an option. My frustration stems from the a refund issue. On April 4th, my daughter and three of her teenage friends went to see a movie at Regal theater. When they arrived, the showtime they originally planned for was unavailable, so they bought tickets for a later screening at $20.20 each.
After reconsidering, they decided not to stay and asked for a refund. The theater employee took both their tickets and their receipts and informed them that the refunds would be processed back to their original payment cards.
Days passed, and while one friend did receive a refund, my daughter did not. When she followed up with her friends, two of them were still waiting as well. I then contacted the theater directly and was told that without receipts, the best they could offer was a pass or something similar. I visited the theater myself and spoke to a manager, who said there was nothing they could do and referred me to Regal's customer support email.
After multiple emails and a call with customer service, I was told that they could process the refund if we could provide the original receipts and the last four digits of the payment cards. I explained again that the theater staff took the receipts and did not return them.
I even suggested they review the timestamp of the purchase and their surveillance footage to verify that the teens bought the tickets and returned them shortly after. If it's company policy to require a receipt for a refund, why would the receipts be taken and not returned?
At this point, the three teens are out $60.60 in total. My only remaining options are to dispute the charge through my daughterâs card issuer and file a complaint with the Federal...
Read moreWhile I'm glad they have renovated the theater to upgrade everything from the concessions to the comfortable seats (that lean back but also take up a lot of room meaning they have less seats and sell out very quickly), I am not pleased with the staff. When I went in for a weeknight evening movie, it was not busy at all so many staff members were simply standing around and chatting among themselves. They had a single person at the ticket booth, despite a line forming of 5-7 people waiting for tickets. This was very frustrating, as I believe they should send other employees over to keep the line as short as possible. The one person selling tickets also had to accept tickets from people walking in who purchased online, meaning she stopped in the middle of her transaction with me to assist others, again while the rest of the employees were just standing around not helping. Finally, I do not at all care for the new feature of choosing your seats while purchasing tickets. It's an extra, unnecessary step and it was very annoying to see the seats marked as taken were empty for the entire movie. I could have had a great seat, but instead I had to sit next to and in front of several people who spent the whole movie talking. This isn't a concert, choosing seats before you walk into the theater is ridiculous. We've managed by choosing our own seats until now, and it just feels like an attempt to seem fancy and to justify raising ticket prices. The only upside to this change is that we were told when a movie was technically sold out because the only two seats left were far apart instead of together. But unless they have an employee coming in to force you into the seat you picked, it's just a waste of time. Also I noticed that the rooms don't have signs telling you what movie is playing, and the tickets show the room number in the very center, which is where they tear it in half. Had to second guess what we were told but it just seems like a bad design flaw. Overall it's a nice theater but my experience was not...
