Taco Mamacita — Restaurant in Chattanooga

As a 100% Mexican/american citizen and eaten in many hispanics restaurants my wife was excited to try out this place for a few weeks and finally today we chose to go and try out the place and love the outside appearance and the inside was amazing so is the garage bay doors for the summer time but what made me give this place a one star really no stars raiting was the food and menu for starters the nonalcoholic beverages was not on the menu and had to ask for and no juices for the kids I have a 2 yr old and a 9 month old next is the food the food in the menu seemed great and sounded delicious but it did not turn as it seemed my wife got the sloppy nachos [mama secret recipe season, ground beef. Diced tomato, jalapeño, queso ,Jack. Cheese sour cream, fritos, Tortilla chips.] and my wife ask for no fritos, jalepanos, tomato's and when her plate was served all that was on it was the chips meat and sour cream there was no jack cheese , or queso apart from that it did not smell or look appetizing and after trying it which was beyond terrible and disgusting and mockery of Mexican food it was literally tortilla chips topped with sloppy Joe I tasted barbecue sauce and ketchup and sour cream which was disgusting and had them take it off the bill and my order was not that terrible but wasn't far from it I had the quesadilla carnitas and Mexican rice the rice was terrible my blonde American wife didn't like nor our mixed children especially the 9 month who just trying out food and my quesadilla was more like a flour pork taco there was little to nothing cheese on it and the street corn was no where near how it really made it was missing Mexican mayo(or just mayo) loads of cheese and lime this place is not worth it and should be ashamed to be called authentic Mexican. Whuz happening guys ! This Taco Mamacita is your happening place. It is a Newly Created Restaurant. Man it's nice ! It is conviently located off interstate 75 outside Hamilton Place Mall. It is our largest mall. This Taco Mamacita is surrounded by other very nice restaurants 😋. They are on a triangles 🔺️ with Texas Roadhouse, Community Pie, and Cheesecake Factory. However this outstanding Review is about Taco Mamacita 🌮. They are crazy busy 🤪, but be patient. It's certainly worth the wait. This is one of two locations. The other one is located in the Northshore Community. This is going South off 75 into interstate 24 about 10 miles in the heart of tourism. Welcome guys to one of the most Popular Visitation Cities Attractions in the country. Yes, this is Chattanooga, Tn. aka Scenic City. Our Restaurants play a critical part of our history. Okay guys y'all got this 👍. Let's eat I'm hungry 😋. The restaurant is very colorful. The Staff is friendly, and energetic ready to serve you. Please tip responsible. I highly recommend the Chicken Nachos. If you want a little spicy 🔥 try Caribbean Jerk @ Hot Chicken Tacos 🌮. If you want to cool it off a bit order the Sweet Potato Fries, and Guacamole. The Jerk Chicken Rice Bowl will work also 😋. You have your choices of drinks 🍸 to wash down the delicious food. The parking can be a challenge, because they stay busy. Got it ? Im writing this review as a customer who was OBSESSED with the north shore location. That place NEVER disappointed. It was my first favorite restaurant since moving to chatt. I have been counting down the days until this new location opened. Telling all my clients and friends. I hope this review is seen by the owner or management staff and is taken to heart and not to tear you down completely as I was a server and a bartender for many years and now own my own small business. If I was a new customer and had never experienced the north shore location I would never be back. The restaurant was not busy when we went. Tons of hosts and barely any servers. We were quoted 30 minutes and waited about 15-20. Great. But when we sat down we all just watched every server walk past our table for 20 minutes. Just stares and avoiding. Weird and uncomfortable. Finally the manager comes over and gets our drinks and gives us an appetizer for free. Appreciated that. But it took forever to come out. Waited another 20 mins. Finally a server came over. Nice guy. Took our order everything was correct but the portions were SIGNIFICANTLY smaller. What??? For the same price. Then finally we asked for the check. It was wrong. Then when it was fixed the server swapped checks and we paid for the other couple and they had paid for us. Just sloppy over silly things that could have been avoided. Please please pleaseee really try to fix these small issues. I don’t want to see you guys not succeed and I really want to go back without these silly things again.
