First of all, Walmart Online is one of my favorite websites to shop however I go to this particular store for Misc items. Seems like the staff is not enough trained and everyone is on their own without anyone directing them or the customers.
While other chains are short of staff, this store has plenty of staff but just poorly managed. I have yet to see more than one person behind the Customer Service Desk and there is always a long line there.
During the evening of Saturday Aug 1st, I ended up being at the same line for something to return. There were 8 people ahead of me and soon enough there were 8 people behind me too. Unfortunately, there was only one staff member behind the desk and I was there for over an hour. During that time I saw several staff members go behind the desk but walked away without even making an eye contact with any customers, completely ignoring the line. At one point I spoke with a Shift Supervisor Efrain who went behind the desk, but did not assist any customers and said he was busy somewhere else in the store. He also said Asst Manager Chris was on a brake and wasn't sure if the GM Brandy was working! How could you have a Manager go on a brake during the busiest hours on probably the busiest day of the week. He never returned during the hour I was there.
Vandit, the staff member who was by himself behind the Customer Service desk was excellent by the way. At no point, he lost his patience and in fact was polite throughout. When he needed assistance on a Price Check, he called over the Microphone system but sadly no one responded. There is a lot of competition out there, esp with online businesses delivering right at your door for free. Your staff needs some empowerment, some more training and the support from the Managers. Read moreI want to be very clear! This review and rating is in no way directed at the driver! He was given a bag of groceries to deliver and he did it! My remarks are mostly directed at the system! My delivery order was totally wrong! I am on the phone right now to find out where the rest of my order is!! Over 10 minutes on two phones and nobody answers the phone!! This is totally unacceptable!! I paid for my order and I think I should expect it to be delivered in full! I don’t suppose anyone will answer this complaint! Well, both phones just are now going to a busy signal. I am 84 years old and now I will have to go out and raise a fuss at the service counter!! I have my groceries delivered all the time from Walmart and this is the first time with such a monumental mess up! It should never be this difficult to get an answer to a problem!! So! A word to the wise!! Don’t bother calling and hearing them tell you how much they appreciate your business when the don’t even answer the darn phone!!! Follow up! I drove over to the store to find out what happened. As usual, the employs that assisted me were very helpful, polite and professional! One thing Walmart does well is employee training! To make a long story short, apparently the system canceled my order because they may not have received the fresh veggies that day or they were out of all the items in my order. No, I didn’t get an email or text but then again my daughter didn’t get the three texts from her husband either, so there’s that whole thing. A lot of people have had that problem. I read yesterday steady that a piece of the sun fell off the side, they even had a photo of it! So, I guess my groceries are not as big a problem as I thought they were, in the grand scheme of thing! She is India lady. She old and ugly as her face. Lazy working supper slow. When costumers ask questions she acts doesn’t want to open her mouth.. Be enough every time I get to she her, I feel can’t breathe or asking any questions. I don’t know why they are hiding person like that or longer work and get more experienced that how she acts. Many people that talk about India employees at the costumer service. Okay ! I decided to leave some content or complain because last week I went to shopped in this Walmart for my daughter but it doesn’t fit on her so I returned and I said I want cash, she doesn’t say anything after she gives me a card with receipt , I said I want a cash why you give me a card because the card I only can get in the store. I need to get something out here with cash. She said I don’t speak clearly. How clear she wants when I said I want to take cash. Because she never pay any attention to the costumers. I said so I don’t want to return if I can’t get a cash back. She said I ready return and purchase it to the card. She should let me know if I can’t get a cash and card only so I can decide to return or not return. She doesn’t care I am happy or not With her work and still talking F with her partner.
