According to Google, people love and rely upon my reviews. So here goes.
We had a little trouble navigating to the entrance/hostess. We did not have a reservation but my party of 3 was seated promptly. There were plenty of diners and the mood was good. We chose indoor dining because of the pictures online. We are always seeking the full pleasure of any experience.
Our first impression is that this is a beautiful restaurant and has a great ambiance.
Perhaps they were short staffed that evening (although it didn't seem that way). We waited to be greeted for over a half hour. I had to wave down a passing server to ask for water. Water came, but still no server to greet us and take a beverage order. I flagged a passing server again and asked for table service. It seemed like the other tables were being served, but not mine. Is that how things work at this eatery? Did I miss the instructions? At this juncture, we were deciding whether to leave. It's been 45 minutes at this point. It was my idea to come here so I was feeling pretty disappointed and embarrassed. We were not throwing any shade - we just observed patiently. Large parties that came in after us had a server. Our server arrived and greeted us like royalty. We ordered drinks, appetizers and entrees in one swoop because we didn't know when we'd see him again. Because, track record thus far. And also we had had plenty of time to review the menu.
The food came out in a fair amount of time and it was good! They forgot our appetizer. I had to request cutlery. Now I'm looking around for a hidden video crew because ... really?
The mgr. came by to do an awkward status check once we finished our meal. He didn't check w any other guests that I saw. I didn't complain because - we knew he knew. You'd think they'd offer a courtesy discount to mediate the numerous faux pas. Nada.
We are decidedly undecided whether we will give Tuscany another chance one day. Could have been an off day for them. The white table cloths and artwork saved them from a scorching...
Read moreFirst time to this place. Very clean and well maintained establishment. Cute decor and kid friendly atmosphere. Customer service was everything. The young lady behind the counter did not speak the best English, but it did not stop her from helping us out. They had so many options, and she was able to tell us what each item was. My group decided to try these little white chocolate covered white velvet cakes with strawberries . They did not disappoint. Well made, very tasty, and I was completely shocked by the prices . It's super...
Read moreDinner was very good. We did wait awhile for our food. That was a disappointment but it was very good and our server kept checking on us which was nice. We were there celebrating a birthday and they surprised the birthday girl with a generous piece of cake complete with candles, etc. They also asked if any of us wanted to see a dessert menu. Prices were good and portions were very good. I will...
