Navy Pier - Observation Deck — Attraction in Chicago

We came for the Fireworks show on a Saturday Night - get there early if you want a seat anywhere along the boardwalk or at the Observation Deck.

Clean area. Im sure the views during the day are amazing - at night it was interesting to see the boats coming in and interacting with some of them from the Deck.

This was the best part of Navy Pier, in my opinion. The observation area offered some great views of the lake and the skyline as well. There were plenty of places to sit or stand as the pier was not very crowded during my visit. There were restaurants and other food establishments not far from the observation area and there are several other attractions on or near it too. This place is ideal to visit with the family. You can spend the whole day enjoying the excellent attractions. I especially like it in the summer because you have the beach, a variety of foods, boat rides, and bike rides.
