We were super excited to ride the Ferris wheel, and had the city pass to explore multiple attractions in Chicago. After being disappointed with other attractions being closed, we decided to go on the Ferris wheel. On their website, it says they close at 9 PM. We arrived around 7:45, tickets in hand, only to be told that they close at 8 and that the google information “isn’t always accurate”. But it was not google, it was their direct website. Not sure if this is the piers fault or the employees not wanting to work later, but we were very disappointed. Support will not answer either. I know this has happened to others, and I’m hoping they get their system...

One of the best things to do in Navy Pier. Boardwalk shopping? Cool. Navy Pier restaurants? Delicious! Getting on the rides? Fun 👍 And the big wheel gives you truly remarkable views of Lake Michigan and Chicago's world class architecture. There's a slow spin, nice, when they load the cabs one by one - you get in and get the views almost immediately.

Then you get the real spin, which is superb and enjoyable. You can sit back and take in the views, or go mad with your camera and take ALL the photos. All of them. 🤗
