I recently had the incredible experience of flying over Chicago, and it was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we took off, the stunning views of the cityscape left me in awe.
The aerial tour provided a unique perspective of Chicago's iconic landmarks. Seeing the majestic Willis Tower, the striking John Hancock Center, and the beautiful Lake Michigan from above was truly breathtaking. The pilot was knowledgeable and shared fascinating facts about the city, adding an educational twist to the thrilling ride.
One of the highlights was flying over Millennium Park and getting a bird's-eye view of the famous Cloud Gate sculpture, also known as "The Bean." The sight of Navy Pier and the bustling shoreline from above was equally impressive, and the sunset over the skyline was the perfect finishing touch to an unforgettable journey.
The aircraft was comfortable and well-maintained, and the staff was professional and friendly, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience from start to finish. Safety measures were thoroughly followed, making me feel secure throughout the flight.
If you're looking for a unique way to see Chicago, I highly recommend this aerial tour. It's an adventure that combines excitement, beauty, and a touch of magic, offering a new appreciation for the Windy City. Don't miss out on this amazing experience!

Read moreThe Flyover ride itself was something we would do again. It was a great length and scenery! Don't recommend if blurry scenes/images make you dizzy as that did affect some of us. The reason I’m rating this lower is because of service and ticket logistics that they need to improve. The tickets can only be recovered via a QR code. This code is not sent over email or able to be looked up online by their system. My code after purchase was saved to my Apple wallet but moved to expired passes as soon as my time slot hit. They won’t let you in until your time slot which meant several were scrambling to find their codes and the patience and flexibility of the front ticket scanner, Jake, was nonexistent. He treated us like we were incompetent and separated us from our ticket time group, telling us to find another time slot and go work with staff on another level to reschedule. We were with a large group and no other times were available. My kids were devastated that I couldn’t recover my code and had no options without that code. I found the code finally, less than a minute after he said they need to shut the doors and can’t let us in, and after much stress and telling him to please wait. I told him we weren’t going to reschedule at this point and either needed to get in with the next group or get our money back. To which I was told to go talk to someone else. We waited on standby and were treated like it was a huge favor to us to let us into the next time slot. It worked out only because there were no shows but not without a lot of frustrations and realization that this new ride needs a system that can look up ticket purchases, a less rigid process, and a kinder staff...
Read moreWe had an amazing time, and the customer service was excellent. Initially, I purchased tickets using a coupon but accidentally selected the wrong date. However, the customer service team was incredibly pleasant and patient, swiftly correcting my mistake to get us the correct date and time without any issues. Our group of four attended at 6:30 PM on a Sunday, and the experience was truly exhilarating! You really feel the twists and turns as if you're on a roller coaster. Yes, I admit, I was screaming.
In my opinion, the first two acts seemed tailored more for people familiar with Chicago. We immediately recognized the mural from 111th & 87th, but without being from Chicago, one might miss out since there was no commentary or explanatory text provided. Act two was decent, featuring real Chicagoans sharing their generational experiences, which was interesting. Personally, I believe they could eliminate the first two acts altogether and focus solely on act three—the actual ride. I think this part could easily fill the entire 30 minutes.
My only issue is that the experience didn't include much history of the South Side, like Bronzeville, Hyde Park, or Pullman. We didn't even see shots of US Cellular Field or the Museum of Science and Industry, both of which are rich in Chicago history, especially regarding the Great Chicago Fair. However, despite these omissions, I would still consider going back and encourage others to experience it at least once. One thing to note is that the seats are a bit narrow...
