I had the worst experience at this hobby lobby with not one manager, but several. I came in to return an online item which had directions on the invoice that I could return it in store to the original form of payment, when the associate notices it’s an online return she tells me I think the policy has changed let me find out. She asks a manager who proceeds to ask another manager, then several managers/associates are all standing at the first register telling me that the policy changed and that I can only get store credit. As the line is building up I start getting harassed by the customer behind me, just to make this all the more pleasant experience. It would have been nice if they had opened another register and pulled the customer behind me so that I was not being accosted and embarrassed having all these managers/associates argue with me over a return as the line grows. They did not once look at my invoice even though I asked them to repeatedly, or offer to check with corporate if there were any other options since this was a new policy (that obviously not all of them knew about). They kept repeating to me that I needed to call the 1-800 customer service number or get store credit. I left and called customer service and got bounced around to 4 different people who I had to explain my situation to over and over again before I was able to get an exception made for my return. I lost a loved one before the 4th of July holiday and wasn't in the right state of mind to set up anything i had anymore so it all just sat there and went to waste, I finally mustered up the energy to come return my stuff and a few things didn't have the tag on it for the price but everything was unused and one manager refused a couple of things because the original packaging was missing but NOWHERE IN THE POLICY does it State that it HAS TO HAVE THE TAGS ATTACHED TO IT. NOWHERE. On the receipt it says that they value their customer satisfaction and that couldn't be FURTHER from the truth. Mayra came up to the register mid transaction talking about "what are you doing?" To the cashier as if she was blind and couldn't see she was doing a return and the cashier said she was doing a return then she started telling me NO! You can't return any of this! There's no tags! I said where does it say In the policy it needs to have the original tags and she started reading it, then read the receipt and LOW AND BEHOLD IT DOESNT SAY THAT BUT SAID SHE CAN REFUSE MY RETURN!!!!!!!! I HAVE MY RECEIPT AND THE ITEMS. I'm missing a TAG so she couldn't return it even though it didn't state that anywhere ???
