Ok,I had to edit it.1 star review would be too harsh and won't be fair to the actors and the chef, since even my friend's prime rib looked delicious.I avoid ordering prime rib unless I am 100% sure the place knows how prime rib is cooked. It was a wonderful play, acting was splendid and the meal was awesome hence 3 stars. Room for improvement, may the owners get blessed with wisdom : 1.Parking lot and the front end of the building is lit very poorly,if it has any light at all, looks way too bland and unapealing after dark. 2.Waitressing was inadequate.Dropping multiple items on the floor few times, having issues processing cards.Forgetting who gave you the actual credit card asking at every table if one was that very guy.Classy. 3.Poor choice of beverages. Not refilling fountain drinks. Not checking on guests. 4.If you are a woman it will take quiet a while to access the bathroom. There was a long queue. 5.Reservation for a group can be challenging and so can be sitting arrangements. Why would you sit members of the very same company on the opposite sides of the room ? 6.Insufficient space between tables.Feels overcrowded. The play itself was very noteworthy and it felt as a real genuine theatre experience in Pocatello(or Chubbuck it is all Pocatello to me unless I have to mail an...
Read moreThe playhouse deserves 5 stars. Great show, great actors/actresses, great stage work! The play was worth every dollar! Singing, dancing, acting, and even tap dancing! The people on the stage were GREAT! We'll definitely go back, but our tickets will not include food. The 'dinner' side of the experience was terrible. My salad was literally 5 (five) peices of lettuce with a couple of sparse toppings and a total of three bites. The rolls were crusty, but not in a fresh baked way, more like a stale, sat out for too long way. The potatoes that came with the dinner were raw. Not slightly undercooked... Raw, couldn't be cut, and not edible. My chicken cordon bleu had no ham or cheese in it. It did, however, have toothpicks in it. So that was a fun surprise. The menu advertised a dessert, but they never brought one out. Apparently, it was the tiny, dry bit of dehydrated cornbread that was on the table when we were sat? Don't waste your money on the dinner. Any other choice at all would be better (fast food, deli food, any other restaurant, bag of chips, frozen burrito), literally any other choice. And it was expensive!...
Read moreVery fun night! Great dinner and great performance of the Addams family. I found the price at $40 per person for a three course prime rib meal and a play to be very reasonable for a couples night out.
The play was well rehearsed (we saw the second to the last showing so it should be well rehearsed) and it was very entertaining. The talent might be pulled from local high schools and the college but this isn't New York so don't expect Broadway! This is Pokey and the Mystique fits in well and does a great job of bringing a little culture to the Gate City. I would rather spend $80 for a prime rib dinner and desert than go spend $10 per ticket to see the latest CGI, story-less drivel from Hollywood and feel like a whale after that popcorn and soda. Not to mention it will almost cost the same if you eat dinner out first. Plus you're much more likely to get that special, really hot sex after prime rib and a play than you are after a movie and popcorn! lol
My girl and I both loved it and will...
