Tres Hermanos — Restaurant in Chubbuck

I went to this restaurant today at their chubbuck location and after paying I asked for a receipt and the cashier refused to give me a receipt and said I had to tell her before I paid if I wanted a receipt another lady stepped forward and showed her how to do it I took my receipts and put them in an envelope and walked back to my table when another lady screamed at me in front of 5 differnt tables totaling about 20 people that we had ordered too many containers of chips so I went to the front desk to ask what was going on they told me that they had to charge me extra because of the chips come to find out they didn’t want to give me a receipt because they had charged me for the chips without telling me the entire time they were extremely rude I never once was rude or questioned them about the price and I had no issue with paying extra for chips I only wanted a receipt because I was using company money and was required to provide it to my boss I go to this restaurant at least 1 time a week and have been a customer of all 3 locations for years until today I will not be going back especially after raising my concern with multiple people of the business and nobody...

I haven’t been to this restaurant before it was my first time. I ordered ground beef nachos. The service was great! No complaints! The food was mediocre to say the least. The chips tasted like they came from a bag. I know freshly fried chips and these were not them! I am not into chips from the bag if I would’ve known this I would’ve ordered something else. Of course, nachos are made with chips so it was all downhill from there. The salsa was flavorless. It just tasted like watered down tomato something. It had no spice at all and no bite. I only ate 2 chips and a little salsa. It very disappointing. I asked for spicy salsa and the server brought it to me in a squeeze bottle and it was not much better. (see photos attached). The only thing spicy was the jalapeños. The entree had to much cheese on it. It was overloaded by thick cheese. I only ate a small amount of the dish and I left the rest on the table. The restaurant was very busy. I went around noon yesterday. If I go back I will order something different and stay away from the nachos and the chips. Tried this for the first time because I heard it was good. Ordered the Macho Burrito. Was super excited to try it. Opened it up and noticed the order was on a paper plate wrapped in tin foil. I've been to alot of Mexican restaurants all over, this is the tackiest thing I have seen. Never have had this happen. It's always on a foam tray. This is really cheap and reflects poorly on the restaurant. The worst issue, the neat was pretty pink inside the burrito. I requested shredded beef. It should all be brown. So much of it was pink I didnt even wanna eat the burrito. Disgusting! Made me not even wanna eat at any Mexican restaurant anymore. Cannot believe this. Dont even go here. El Herradero is way better! Never have had an experience like this at El Herradero or anywhere else.
