I recently went to this location for a retirement party. Has a nice rooms on the 2nd floor for parties or get togethers. The museum itself was fun to go through. It had some great items that were once used. It has a small kids little area to learn some fire safety around the house. Also, a fun fire pole you can slide down. (Adults and kids in our group loved it.) Not a long drop as so people cant get hurt doing it. They also have a small gift shop. I didn't enter it tho because i didn't wanna spend a fortune on my kiddos lol. Definitely a nice location to stop and check out if your in the area. Not a large museum. So may only take an hour or so depending how long you look. Downtown parking prices are pricy so i would suggest doing this while also doing something else in area to make pricing of parking worth it as ticket prices are $10 or less per person. Definitely worth seeing...

Our Cincinnati Art Museum hosts many special exhibits. Current Burning Man exhibit gives an interesting insight into a world most would never know. Wander the museum halls mixed with Burning Man original items and documents along with a Van Gogh or 12th century art works. There are two parts planned for this special exhibit. The current exhibit will be replaced by phase 2 after June 1st, 2019. There was so much to display that it required these separate dates. Phase 2 will show through September, 2019. The museum is a delight even without the special exhibits. Schedule a luncheon at the cafe. Food is delicious and not expensive. Enjoy a glass of wine on the patio with you meal surrounded by...

Worth making time to swing in. Cincinnati has played key roles in the development of the American Fire Service. Care and depth of interest have been invested in creating this unique educational environment. What we enjoyed most is the accuracy conveyed in the displays about the sequence of innovation and the historical periods of equipment development. The Cincinnati Fire Museum is superior to many firefighting heritage display sights around the country. It really captures and shares a lot of the spirit and detail of the profession and of this national protector group. Bring kids to ignite their creative interests. Have your kids drag you to spark your gratitude, understanding...

Great day trip! We spent the afternoon learning the history of the firefighters I'm our area. The bonus for me was a play area for my granddaughter. I wasn't sure what to expect for her young age,as far as interest but she played and was entertained. I have visited before with older grandchildren and can comfortably say there's something here for all ages. They even have full sized 🚒 in the building to be explored. The only other sidenote I would add is that there wasnt many references to African American firefighters. I personally know a few myself, overall still a great day trip!!
