Unfortunately, they were out of several menu items that we were hoping to try. Raya explained that it was because it was Saturday and they are closed Sunday. This area probably gets most of its business on weekday lunches. The menu in the restaurant that day seemed to vary from what is listed on their website, possibly because it was lunchtime. I enjoyed the lamb kebab sandwich and the keppe [it is also known as kibbeh]. My husband enjoyed his chicken shawarma sandwich but the Greek salad he ordered on the side was never served. Otherwise, the food was served hot and fresh. Several selections on the their Pepsi fountain were out of the syrup and it did not appear that other choices were available and none were offered by the staff. Overall, the space is clean, functional and has a comfortable decor; but, again, it was to our misfortune that food and beverage was rather...
Read moreI went here for dinner at 7pm on a Saturday night. They close at 8. It was absolutely empty when I walked in, but two more groups came in while we were there. There were two workers, one doubling as cook and waitress and the other one doing some cooking and some management duties. The waitress was very kind, letting the two groups in as late as 15 minutes before closing, and asking about my life. The service was a little slow, as there was seemingly no rush in an empty restaurant, but overall good.

The falafel was bland, so the wrap altogether ended up bland. My brother ordered the kafta wrap with fries, which he thought was pretty good. I tried the fries, and they were solid. Overall, this restaurant provided an...
Read moreI had called to ask if the meat they serve is hand slaughter or machine slaughter, or even if it is zabiha halal. The lady didn't understand well, so I asked to speak to the owner. She hangs up on me. I call again and spoke with a man (not gentleman), he says hold on and hangs up. I called again, spoke with another lady, she said oh I understand then hands the phone to another lady who gets frustrated and says if you want to place an order then do or I'm busy and hangs up. I call again, she says, I don't want to serve you. In all, maybe this place is not halal at all. I would stay away or if I get time in my travel to Cincci, I might stop by and talk in person. But I feel they might call the cops lol. It's a simple question, if they don't serve halal, then that's fine, it's their business. For myself, I just wanted to know for my own faith...
