I lived in Clifton by Ludlow Ave and went to Burnet Woods daily with my dogs, on a run, or just to “escape” the city. The park itself is really beautiful, but it’s a bit tainted by the people who frequent it. There’s normally a group of people who sit by the fountain near the entrance of the park who will not hesitate to make unwarranted comments or stare at you if you are a woman. Those same people (and others) leave their needles, clothes, and trash around the park. I’ve seen it firsthand. I will never forget seeing used needles right next to the trail.
