They put me in a car that hadnt been inspected .The maintenance required light came on while I was still on my journey. They didn't have any replacement vehicles which delayed me 6 extra days and I had to pay for them out of my pocket $600 + extra $ after I prepaid for the whole trip in advance .There was no way I was going to be traveling back through the PA and Virginia mountains with that ⚠️ alert with my special needs child!! I was told I had to I am the cost right then out of pocket for the 6 extra I asked if they could comp the days. Its a COVID PANDEMIC I was instructed to call ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE WHO DO NOT ANSWER FOR ME @ALL !! AFTER WAITING 2 1/2 TO 3 HRS FOR THEM TO P/U 4 DAYS IN A ROW!! I WAS SO FED UP I DROVE ON A DONUT ALL THE WAYVTO THE AIRPORT 25 MILES FROM WHERE I WAS STAYING .I HAD TO CALL MY OWN AAA TO CHANGE THE BAD TIRE WITH THE SLOW LEAK.It was COSTLY, FRUSTRATING, EXHAUSTING AND TRAUMATIZING !! And now I'm left trying to recoup all the money that I lost $628 plus a whole tank of gas from just filling up that car not being able to use it to come back and they don't want to compensate me they had the nerve to try to offer me a $200 voucher for my next rental so I'm disputing these charges with My Bae and I would suggest that you try to find any other rental that you can other than Thrifty or dollar because I believe they're connected by the same entity but I got the special through Hotwire so whatever you do avoid Thrifty BUYER BEWARE🥵🥵🥵🤯🤯🤯🤯 the only thing this company is concerned about is getting their money not pleasing the customer not making sure that you'll be safe on your journey because they completely neglected to inspect the vehicle before they put me at at if you can choose a different rental company....
Read moreI placed my first ever SRFH delivery bc I was unable to do my own grocery shopping. I even put a note telling the shopper how I shop and please keep that in mind. I gave specific instructions on delivery, couldn't be any clearer. Welp, I received message that my groceries were delivered... to my surprise, they weren't by my door. I immediately called. The rep I spoke with knew exactly who I was and I asked if the driver can just pick up the groceries and bring them to me. He said they use DoorDash... that's the absolute worst company they could use WHYYYY!?! I thought they used shoprite employees, since I've seen SRFH vans on Rt. 130/541 etc. He said he'll redo the order. An hour later, a lady who spoke no English dropped off dead flowers and apologized for mixing up the delivery, yet, I had no groceries. At 1pm I checked to make sure there were no groceries at my door. It wasn't. Since I was told they'll be there by 1230, I checked just figured, the guy didn't process the order and I call in the even to have my funds put back on my card. It was 330 when someone came home, they said groceries were at the door. How long were they there bc not once did my doorbell ring. Ice cream I ordered was melted, just ruined. Come to find out there was a note, the ppl who my groceries were delivered to dropped them off bc my address was in the bag. Only one order of groceries. Can't...
Read moreI've been shopping here for over 10 years now since moving into the area, and I have watched the quality of customer service slowly go downhill over the years.
I feel the biggest issue is the self-checkout. It's a good idea on paper to keep costs down, but ultimately the clientele is of an older generation and cannot handle the self-checkout. Additionally, because ShopRite feels they are losing money due to theft via the self checkout, they have 4 employees who do nothing but just watch people beep their items. Instead of being trained on the register, they have to be bouncers for the store, and help Gertrude with buying her prune juice. It's really frustrating to be waiting so long in the normal checkout line because there are so few registers open, yet the self checkout area is fully staffed with employees who sit there and gossip.
As for the store's overall quality, it's fine. The store is relatively clean, they sell just enough ethnic food to not feel like a totally whitewashed establishment, and they don't change the store layout too often. It's good enough to be my grocery store of choice...
