A life time of incredible experiences from a home town tourist. The original architecture, like Little Joe's Tower, Centerway Clock Tower and the Barron Steuben Building transport me back to a time before I existed and the industrial revolution was just giving birth to T. Edison's incandescent light bulb and a contract for Corning Glass & Little Joe to go light the world. The old world charm then gives way to fond childhood memories of hot chocolate, dazzling lights piercing the black winter night, and Santa visiting during the Christmas festival, Sparkle. If I owned a business in the area I'd be...
Read moreI've lived in or near Corning most of my life, up until almost 4 years ago. It has always been a great place to live and explore. This is ecspecially true during the holiday seasons. Most of the shows, events or festivals are typically family oriented, Sparkle being hands down mine and my families favorite festival turned tradition, is no exception. Sparkle is held every December & is put on by Market Street & Gaffer Districs Vendors. A might where love & laughter is endless and happiness & kindness are second nature. .Market St comes alive more than ever and it's filled with more holiday spirit than anyone could ask for. Excited to see what's in-store for...
