This was my first visit to the Aldi's on W. Hudson St in Elmira.
Although the layout was different from the one I usually shop in the items were similar and nicely displayed. Overall, the store was clean but on the shabby side.
The parking lot needs to be maintained, I spotted lots of trash and spilled food in it. Lots of potholes and uneven paving.
The cart area had several carts jammed together so they couldn't be separated and used. I only got a cart from a nice man by following him to his car as he removed his groceries. I don't like stalking someone for their cart and I don't think that should be part of the "Aldi's shopping experience"!

As far as pricing goes it's really one of the best around...for now. Corporate greed will catch up though, it always does. Just look at Save-A- Lot. They used to be good but now you're better off going to tops. I see the same thing with Aldi because somethings are already that way. For instance, you can get an ounce or 2 less of something for a dollar or two cheaper but if you go to tops or Wal-Mart,..especially Wal-Mart you can get the full size at a $1or...
