Park Theater — Attraction in City of Hudson

I'm new to the area and am learning about all that Hudson has to offer. Lots! This venue was intimate, comfortable, and accommodating. I bought tix online... then showed up on the wrong night. Shannon worked some magic and we stayed to enjoy a band I hope to see again soon. The young vocalist was incredible, as was the guitarist. The band included a bassist and drummer, too, all of whom complimented the sound. To my untrained ear I would describe it as a jazzy, Amy Winehouse/Tracy Chapman kind of sound, heavily influenced by reggae. Whatever it was, (and my apologies if I missed the mark describing her sound), it was fabulous and I was totally taken with her original songs from the very first notes. What a treat to hear such talent so up-close-and-personal. Glori Wilder and the Moonflowers, seek them out. And, I look forward to whatever else the Park Theater has...

Wow! We just experienced the beautiful Park Theatre for the first time last night, and it was an experience to remember! We saw the very talented “ the Sea the Sea” in a beautifully restored historic building on Warren street. When leaving, I thought my wonderful evening was complete….Until the Owner of the theatre engaged us in a heartfelt conversation about the need to preserve venues , talent and the social and community outreach of this truly magical Listening room.
