Food is consistent and generally very good. I would not recommend ordering delivery. We order for delivery pretty consistently during the winter months, 1-2x month as Friday treat. We have always had a great experience until our last. We ordered around 5:30pm, quoted time was 45 minutes - no problem. Around 6:30pm we hadn't received our order, we called and were told deliveries had not gone out yet but were about to. Around 7pm we called again and were told the driver was out, we should get out order soon. About 15 minutes later we get a call from a different person telling us our food was delivered at 6pm. My husband did receive a missed call around this time but no message was left, no one rang our door bell or knocked on the door. Should we have answered the phone? Yes. We also both receive about 10 spam calls per day at all hours, if there is no message we would not think anything of it. On top of that the restaurant was completely unaware both times that we called to check on our order that our food had been delivered. We were told the entire situation was our fault, not even an apology or acknowledgement of a miscommunication or mishandling of our order. Food was cold, soggy and inedible after sitting outside in the cold for an...

This was my first time here, and as soon as I walked in the doors I knew I was giving it five stars. The food smelled so good right off the bat, the restaurant was clean and modern looking and even though they were very busy we were seated and served pretty much immediately. The service was decent, there were so many people that a little wait wasn't a big deal and the the food was worth every second. I liked the strawberry margarita, it wasn't too sweet and lasted through the meal. We ordered shumai for the table, streamed and those were demolished. The largest shumai I have ever had! I had the Drunken noodles, spicy level. It had a great tingle to the lips but wasn't overpowering at all. Lots of flavors and the shrimp were MASSIVE. My bf got a fried fish dish which I cannot remember the name of, but the fish batter was so light and DELICIOUS. Major win for me, and this was his first time ever trying thai food. The side of Jasmine rice was cooked perfectly as well. My mom got a curry style soup (also very yummy, I stole bites from everyone because it all looked phenomenal) which has such depth of flavor and really felt very comforting. I cannot wait till next time I visit this summer so I can come back and try...

THEY WILL GANG UP ON YOU IF YOU DONT TIP THE WAY THEY WANT YOU TO. A bunch students, we thought we would treat ourselves - we ate our meal chatted, disnt care much about the fact that the waitress was barely speaking to us. When we got our bill we paid and gave as much gratuity as we thought we should but after taking the bill back she had the owner come out and hound us about how much he thought we should have paid. He said specifically "these people come here to make a living and the tips is their wage". I would have paod more but his behavior was appalling. The waiter ran back with the bills thinking we were going to modify the tip as they stood their trying to make us feel uncomfortable in doing so but little does this owner know that just bcs states allow you to reap wages from your servers it doesnt force you too. If you are running a restaurant, making thousands off of "these people" and care so much about them than you should be paying enough so that tips feel like gratuity - meaning a reward. He told us we could leave and didnt need...

If you're in the Hudson area and craving Thai food, look no further than Isaan Thai Star. In addition to excellent food and drinks, it offers efficient service and great vibes that include beautiful live music. The Panang Salmon was phenomenal, both in its plating and taste. The Himmapan Chicken and Drunken Noodle Chicken both packed a little heat but were excellent options. The Spring Roll was great, the Shumai was decent, the unsweetened Thai Iced Tea was refreshing, and the Thai Iced Tea with coconut milk was also a hit (without the milk overpowering the flavor). All in all, we greatly enjoyed our evening dinner here, and would highly recommend Isaan to others.

Yum! We really enjoyed our lunch here just a block away from the main strip in Hudson. Cute, clean, modern interior with lots of space and quick + kind service. We had the drunken noodles and pineapple fried rice. Both portion sizes were decent and both had great complex flavor with fresh tasting ingredients. I especially loveeeed the spice level of our drunken noodles! Thai tea always a must. The spring rolls were tasty as well. Portions are a little on the pricier side but typical for the area. Solid Thai option for lunch or dinner
