Went here as we were in town for the day. We checked out the menu first to and sure there were options for the both of us as my friend is Vegan and I don't eat beef or pork. We went around 3pm. My friend requested the cauliflower wings but was informed that they had just ran out. We both ended up ordering impossible burgers. I ordered the Bistro Rodeo Burger with an impossible patty with no bacon and my friend ordered the Spicy Jalepeno Burger with an impossible patty. The food came out pretty quickly however mine had bacon on it and the side of ranch I requested appeared to have chunks in it. I guess my face looked funny because the waitress who brought the food to our table asked if there was a problem. I informed her that the ranch didn't look right and that I don't eat bacon. She replaced the ranch and then asked if I could just give the bacon to someone who would eat it. I informed her that my friend was Vegan and that I did not eat beef or pork. She left the plate, told me I could eat the fries and also asked if I told the waitress no bacon. A few minutes later the waitress came over and apologized for forgetting about the bacon and took the plate. It took a while to get the food remade but I ultimately enjoyed the burger. Our waitress whose name I unfortunately don't remember was kind. She did end up comping my order due to the mistake and the wait. The atmosphere was good as well as the music. My only critique would be to maybe work on the bread to patty ratio. As there seemed to be more bread than impossible Burger.

Loved the Schnitzel. It was fabulous. Light and crunchy. Probably the best ever. I’ve had veal Schnitzel many times. I liked the way this chef did pork Schnitzel. The pineapple cider by Hudson Brewery was good, too.The entree came with a Caesar salad. I asked for the dressing on the side. I also asked for a glass of water. I did not get either. I know the server heard me because I spoke clearly and she nodded. I don’t like my salads drowning in pungent salad dressing. I didn’t bother to send it back. The salad was fresh and I ate most of it, but I really prefer to use very little dressing. The server never came back until we were ready to leave so I didn’t get to ask for water again until she was about to hand us the check. It was after 2pm. I’m afraid she just forgot. The food is far better than average pub food. That Schnitzel can hold its own at any fine dining restaurant. My husband had the same entree but asked to substitute the salad for some amazing mash potatoes. I wish I’d done the same. We were both impressed that there were still people arriving for lunch as we were preparing to leave. It’s a cozy place and the fireplace will be nice in the winter. There are some fun, whimsical touches like the electric applause sign above the kitchen door. Bravo. The food is indeed extremely good.

We stopped here on a whim on our way through the area to Orange County and we enjoyed it so much, we will make this the destination next time! We started with the mild cauliflower wings and the mozzarella wedges with melba sauce, both were so delicious. My husband was craving a burger so he got the Bistro Rodeo Burger and he loved it. I always fill up on appetizers so I got the butternut squash soup as my meal and it was so yummy. I’m not a vegetarian but I don’t eat a lot of meat (only poultry) so it was nice to have a variety of vegetarian options, as well as multiple chicken options besides the standard boring grilled chicken entree. We also took home a slice of carrot cake to share and it was heavenly! The service was great, everyone was friendly and attentive, and we loved the warm and relaxing ambiance. We will definitely be back soon to try more menu items!

We ate here for a business lunch on 2/21/25. It was busy and we waited for a table. The food was good but the initial waitress we had spoiled the experience for us with her outspoken and aggressive rudness. She immediately said "you couldn't wait for the table to be cleared before sitting down". The elderly woman that I was with couldn't stand to wait and was uncomfortable sitting on a bar stool to wait, so she went to sit at the table as soon as it opened up. The same waitress exchanged words with us more than once and bragged about working there for 14 years, so I guess she felt entitled to speak to customers with such callous disrespect. Coming from experience in the restaurant business, besides shear disgust, I felt bad for the owner, Lyle Lentz, to have such a liability on staff. Definitely a one-and-done for me!!

Went to Wunderbar for the 1st time this evening with my husband. We sat at the bar and the bartender Mikayla said she would be right with us. We ordered a cocktail and a beer and then asked for some recommendations. We are so happy Mikayla steered us in the perfect direction. We had the Hipster Fries and Roasted Brussel Sprouts as our apps. Both were to die for! I orded the angry lobster pasta from Mikayla's suggestion and was wildly surprised at just how much lobster was in it! Actual chunks in every bite! My husband ordered the candied bacon burger, which to be honest seemed like an odd combo of things on a burger. BUT JUST WOW! Perfect marriage of salty, sweet and spicy all at once! We will definitely be back to try more things on the menu for sure!
