We had a reservation for two on Mother's day. First time there fir me. A very nice atmosphere, we were seated within two minutes. They support local breweries, which is awesome. So we did as well, by ordering, Irish Red Ale, from the Old Klaverack Brewery. For appetizers we had Mozzarella Wedges, & Crab Cakes. The cheese in the Wedges was warm and creamy, you can just tell, no cheap cheese here. As far as the Crab Cakes, they were great, I could have eaten four or so of them just for my meal. The dipping sauce was too hot for my taste, but my husband loved it. I'll have to ask next time if they have a milder alternative. We did wait a while for our appetizers to arrive, but our waitress Billie-Jo explained they were very busy and it shouldn't be long. Our entrees were outstanding as well, Fish & Chips for my self, and the meatloaf wrapped in bacon for my husband. The fish, Alaskan Cod was outstanding, for hand cut fries could have been a little crisper. My husband said the meatloaf was outstanding, the broccoli sreamed to perfection, the mashed potatoes were creamy, not runny, with lumps in them. Just like he makes them at home. We ordered our desserts to go, because we were both full from the hearty portions served. So that will have to be another review. When the desserts and bill were brought, we had a very pleasant surprise. Our server Billie-Jo explained, that she had taken the appetizers off our bill because we had waited so long for them. We will definitely be going back, in fact I think we found our new...
Read moreWent here as we were in town for the day. We checked out the menu first to and sure there were options for the both of us as my friend is Vegan and I don't eat beef or pork. We went around 3pm. My friend requested the cauliflower wings but was informed that they had just ran out. We both ended up ordering impossible burgers. I ordered the Bistro Rodeo Burger with an impossible patty with no bacon and my friend ordered the Spicy Jalepeno Burger with an impossible patty. The food came out pretty quickly however mine had bacon on it and the side of ranch I requested appeared to have chunks in it. I guess my face looked funny because the waitress who brought the food to our table asked if there was a problem. I informed her that the ranch didn't look right and that I don't eat bacon. She replaced the ranch and then asked if I could just give the bacon to someone who would eat it. I informed her that my friend was Vegan and that I did not eat beef or pork. She left the plate, told me I could eat the fries and also asked if I told the waitress no bacon. A few minutes later the waitress came over and apologized for forgetting about the bacon and took the plate. It took a while to get the food remade but I ultimately enjoyed the burger. Our waitress whose name I unfortunately don't remember was kind. She did end up comping my order due to the mistake and the wait. The atmosphere was good as well as the music. My only critique would be to maybe work on the bread to patty ratio. As there seemed to be more bread than...

The ambiance of this establishment was pleasant as it was decorated with German influenced posters connecting the visitors to its menu. I should have questioned being able to be seated right away at 6pm on a Friday night. Instead of being risky I opted for a simple, cant screw it up if you tried, old fashion meatloaf. The delivery of the meal was questionably fast, but my stomach was not complaining after eating highway food for the last 10 hours. My excitement was heighten with the meal delivered in splendid presentation neatly situated on the platter. In the first fork I discovered a modestly warm meatloaf covered in gravy salty enough it should have been used to melt ice on a sidewalk. The broccoli was at one point steamed to a perfect el dente level, but much of it was cold upon arrival. The baked potato was situated to the side of the plate, steaming in creative presentation, and is the motivation for one of the rating stars, the beer being the source for the other star. Hoping that the establishment could redeem itself, I ordered a slice of the house made carrot cake only to receive what was a cake made several days, maybe more then a week, in advance. The edges of the cake were hard and its density was generally tough, useful for breaking windows, but unlike freshly made carrot cakes that can be lite and airy. Any future travels to the region will certainly bypass this establishment until serious consideration is given as to what is happening in...
