Every worker here has their own bubbly personality and I love it!! They’re always helpful even when things get a bit complicated. They’re always on point with mobile orders, and the store always looks amazing. They have self check out too!
I frequently shop for yarn, and I don’t think they restock too often. So I recommend checking their app if they have what you’re looking for in stock, it’s usually 90% correct. There’s also coupons you can use all the time.
I just always have issues with returns. And it’s none of the workers faults, of course. I’ve had a few returns with purchases on debit/credit cards, that I haven’t gotten refunds from yet. I’ve called and been told to wait “7-10 business days” but it’s been months, and I’m sure there’s nothing I can do about it now. I’m probably just going to opt for using cash to be safe.
I placed an online order today to use a gift card, and had 17¢ left over, so I used my credit card. And I later found out my gift card was never charged, but my credit card was charged for the entire order. I got an email for my refund of my gift card. I’m sure I typed in everything correctly, otherwise it wouldn’t have been placed. Pretty annoying, but oh well. I come here often anyway.
But I love this store, it’s my go to craft store. I prefer this location over any...
Read more5 stars for improved cleanliness+1 star for customer service=3 stars avg. I drove to Michaels in Chino to look for Fimo clay. They didn't have any. Asked one of the employees if she could help me locate. She looked and said that they don't stock Fimo anymore. I asked if she could check Michaels in Walnut, she said she could not. Not a problem. I called Michaels in Walnut. An employee answered, I asked if they had Fimo. She said that they liquidated all Fimo products. Broke the news to my budding 10-year-old sculptor. He was disappointed, accepted it, then suggested we buy from Amazon. Went home, told the wife and she said she didn't believe it. We drove over to Michaels in Walnut, found Fimo in abundance, bought $77 worth of clay and walked out. How hard is it to check your inventory, or keep it accurate? I really want to support my local brick and mortars, but poor customer service like this makes it difficult for me not to buy from online...
Read moreThere are a couple of nice staff but two of the cashiers at front desk were unfriendly and prices don't match competitors. I went today and yesterday in the afternoon. One of them would smile and talk to everyone except for me. It seems like it's because I'm Chinese unlike most of the customers. The other cashier didn't help me put my purchase into the bag nor did she ask me if I would like one. I got angry after visiting this store twice so I went to HomeGoods. Even though Michael's frames were 40-50% off HomeGoods were not only cheaper but they also were better quality. Also the cashier at HomeGoods treated EVERY customer the same. They even put my purchase into the bag for me. Honestly, Micheal's needs to train their cashiers for better service. It's already known that their art supplies are more expensive than any other art store around. Treating customers differently for their race doesn't...
