Arace Electronics Inc — Attraction in City of Kingston

I called them on an emergency basis (my emergency, not theirs) to come and replace two failed breakers at my house. They responded immediately, despite being very busy, and came within a couple of hours to assess the situation. My panels are old so they were not carrying replacement breakers but they did a work-around that got me through the night. They returned the next morning with the replacement breakers. My panels are obsolete so I am waiting for them to return and replace them. Like all competent tradespeople this year they are very busy....

James, from Arace Electronics was excellent. He was here on time, after I called many other electricians who never even called back. He diagnosed the problem with the breakers in the basement, and within minutes of arriving the power was back on in the kitchen. Also, James was very nice to talk with, and I enjoyed our conversation after he completed the job. I would certainly recommend Arace Electronics for anyone needing electrical help. Ask for James. A real nice person, and electronics...

Nice enough over the phone but it stops there. Called twice within two months, was told “Alright, we have your name and number and we’ll put you on the schedule.” Almost the New Year and it was October when I first started calling. I understand everyone is busy and short staffed these days but a simple “No I don’t think we can fit anything in now. I would try someone else for now” would’ve been better. No one should beg to give a business their money. Won’t be calling this company...
