I really hate to give a bad review but I feel it is totally necessary. I feel if I would have known what this place is about then I wouldn't have went and bought gift certificates so that my mother and girl friend could enjoy. The one thing I can say is the place is very clean. It was a very relaxing atmosphere until the foot rub began. I have had reflexology before and know what it is about. I also know what to expect BUT this was completely different. This was one of the most painful experience's I have ever had in my life. The man rubbing my feet knew I was in pain as the only English he seem to know is "you ok". I said "no it hurts" SEVERAL times but it didn't seem to matter. He never asked what area I'd like to have focused on which was the main reason I went. It was so bad, it almost felt like he was doing it on purpose as I looked at the other people having the same exact treatment done and their experience was not like mine AT ALL. At the very end, he jumped on my legs (upper thigh area if you know what I mean) and I had shorts on. I kept saying stop, stop but it didn't matter. When I saw other people finishing their treatment I didn't see any one else "getting jumped on". They also charged us $2. for lotion which we never received. For me this was a terrible experience and I would never recommend anyone to go. BUT if you like that type of a...
Read moreOne of the best massage experiences I have had. I am a LMT in NYS ( no longer in practice). My husband and I had an hour long of foot reflexology and an hour of full body massage. The reflexology was right on and hit every point. My therapist was mindful that I was ticklish between my toes and therefore spent more time on my heels. Then came the hot stones! He warmed and acclimated them perfectly to my feet. So, if you are looking for a mild, flowing Swedish relaxation massage, that's not what you will receive here. Some may find the technique too aggressive, but I found it invigorating and extremely therapeutic. My therapist didn't miss one trigger point and I felt very complete and so relieved by the end our session. He included plenty of revitalizing tapotement and stretching. Hot stones also incorporated into the full body massage! I will never waste time at a " day spa" as long as Happy Feet is available at such a fantastic rate with skilled therapists to match. My husband had the same exemplary experience. Thank you Happy Feet! We will...
Read moreIt wasn't Reflexology, or even close, it was a lot of slapping, and an hour of sort of massage. The person working on me wasn't able to answer my questions, and possibly didn't speak English. I got a 30min massage as well, and ZERO health information was taken prior. I'm an LMT, and they are probably not licensed, which means they didn't learn about skin disorders and contraindications.
For the cheap price i paid i felt guilty the person probably only made $10 for an hour of work, and her wrist cracked, i felt so bad. Seems like they may be exploiting workers. Owners should know the laws. Tried to push me to sign up for hundred dollar packages, then after i paid and tipped, the owner at the front told me it was $2 for lotion? Next time bring my own..? Wont be returning. I'll get a licensed massage therapist next time. They are actually trained in...
