Northfield Designer Goldsmiths — Attraction in City of Rochester

I initially found Northfield Goldsmiths on Etsy, and I'm glad I did! For my fiance (now wife), I wanted a unique, stand-out ring. I found the mass produced rings from the major jewelry stores to be uninspiring, and unworthy for that special someone (too many similar designs). As soon as I saw Northfield Goldsmith's shop on Etsy, I was sold. Mr. Olsson's (the owner) designs are top-tier; I have never seen rings like his. It helped that Northfield Goldsmith is a physical business (opposed to an individual selling online) with a 30+ year history. When you're doing business from over 1K miles away (I'm in Orlando, FL), you need all the reassurances you can get. When I initially contacted Mr. Olsson via email, his passion for his craft flew right off the screen, and made my choice an easy one. He worked with me every step of the way, and was very accommodating (he even expedited the shipment of the ring for me). Gudmund (the owner and designer) is great at what he does! He is very talented, extremely knowledgeable, patient, thoughtful, and the consummate professional. He met with me three times and each time we set up an appointment for 1 hour to make sure the diamond was the one I wanted. Never did he try to sell me anything. He put me at ease and made me feel comfortable. Gudmund is someone you can trust and he will leave you feeling assured and confident in your decision.
