My wife and I stopped in to look for a book for my baby niece before Easter. We were in the area and decided to try a new bookstore. This place has so much to see - not just books! It's a little dark inside because it has that mysterious, witchy vibe. I loved their door as it definitely set the tone. There's a bunch of trinkets for all types of people scattered throughout the store. They had ample book options. We were able to get a cute dog book plus a little stuffed dog to go with it. The workers were very polite. There is a back wall that looks like an old-school apothecary shop that guests took photos in front of. When I heard there was a queer friendly bookshop that opened in a former club of all places I was stoked. The environment is so fun yet peaceful at the same time and everything feels so chaotically placed yet fits right in it's spot perfectly. I loved seeing the little oddities that they were selling and if I had the money I would've bought more. The fact that they sell witchy stuff (crystals, tarot, books on different witchcraft practices, etc) just added to the mythical vibe I was getting from this shop. There's also Dungeons and Dragons related things, capes and swords, and STUFFIES! I may be an adult but I can still love a good stuffy and their little mushroom dragons melted my heart.
