Grand Union Supermarkets — Local services in City of Rome

I stopped today to grab a few items (5/6) not only are the extremely overpriced but when I went to the deli I picked up ANTIPASTA SALAD....after waiting 6 mins (I timed it) and the worker was just standing down the counter pit of site after I purposely coughed twice she came over. She gave me what was left of the cold antipasta salad. I took it home and realized it was the worst salad I ever bought. First the cheese and meats were not even cut up all the way in slices like it should be....it was over bearing w green olives (ok I thought black olives was part of this salad as well). To make things worse the salad was dry. Like they didn't add hardly if much of drsg to the salad. I after paying so much for it I brought it home and redid it....not to mention at check out there was a line longer than the items I had in my arms. Do us all a favor and get red of that store it's disgusting and the deli and your "hot deli" does nothing for it but make the store worse. I have a grand union nearby and it don't look like that....like a grocery store that needs to be put out...

Yesterday was a very hot day but I needed to pick up some items at the store. The only disabled cart had no charge. A worker asked if I needed some assistance and I said yes and told him the car was not working. I told him I saw one in the parking lot and he said I’ll go out and get it for you which he did. Later he saw me as I was checking out and offered to take my groceries to the car and help me. It was a very hot day and I wasn’t feeling well so I graciously excepted. I asked him his name and he said it was Dylan. He was very refreshing and he was very polite. After selecting approximately 20 items at 10:30 am today, I suddenly needing the men’s room The toilet stall was in disgusting condition with dirt all over the toilet, dirty floor, one toilet paper dispenser broken and the other empty. About 1 month ago I experienced exactly the same thing and complained to the customer service desk both times. The staff member politely replied that there are homeless people who come in early am and leave it that way. Seems simple enough that if that is the case then they should clean after that occurs.
