OBSESSED with my gorgeous, new, custom made kitchen table from American Reclaimed!! I have an odd shaped area and looked for tables for a while. When I decided I wanted something made, I stopped into their showroom in Upper Saddle River, NJ. I was greeted by Celia who was absolutely delightful! She showed me around and said if I wanted a home consultation she’d have Sal call me. Well, Sal came to my house and he was AMAZING!!! Thorough, thoughtful, full of ideas and extremely detailed. What we dreamed up together, he made come to life. He told me…“That’s a 280 year old round from Central America. I’ve had it drying for 4 years”. I’m honored to have such a massive masterpiece in my home. Thank you Sal, for your timely communication, your friendly demeanor, and for your vision. I will forever cherish this work of art. We worked with Tim from American Reclaimed in Rye to design a countertop the bar in our dining room. From the start Tim was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. He provided a quote while we were still in the store. Sal also helped us pick out the perfect piece for our project as I wanted something that didn't need any resin and had a mild live edge. He sent pictures and even a video of the piece of wood for our approval before moving it into production. The delivery team was friendly and efficient. Although we chose to have our contractor install, they brought the countertop into the house and placed it on the cabinets where it would installed. We are super happy with how it turned out and are now investigating getting some picture shelves made to coordinate with our new countertop. We initially sought out American Reclaimed in Rye for help with repairing a live edge table we had purchased from another vendor. The wood started cracking almost immediately. Tim suggested a few options & we initially decided to have the table repaired. Ultimately we ended up having to replace the table and base. Tim and the team were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Knowing that we would be hosting our family for a holiday dinner, they ensured the new table was completed, stained and installed in time. We now have a beautiful new table Great experience working with Tim in Rye on custom making our beautiful new table & plan to have American Reclaimed repurpose the previous slab making it into shelves. I'm just sorry we didn't start with American Reclaimed - it would have avoided a lot of hassle and loss of time/money. We highly recommend...
