Went to have brunch after church on 2/3/25. We were there around 11a before the linch rush. We were a party of 5 adults and 2 kids. Half of our order did not arrive and had to remind the server. She looked surprised that we haven’t received our order and it had seemed it was never placed. While we eventually got our order, service here had noticeably dipped—significantly. And portions seemed much smaller than before ( i know the portions here are at the small side). The cherry on top of our experience was finding pieces of plastic (see picture) in the Crookie — their croissant cookie. This could’ve been ingested by my 5-year old! If you buy pastries here, please be vigilant before giving to your kids. We have called the Rye store and emailed LPQ HQ— both no response on sharing their food safety protocol and to determine what on their production line these pieces of plastic came from. Terrible!

I love le pain quotidien but i was very disappointed when I spend $20.65 for a cobb salad and did not get what im used to. First the employee tells me they dont have hard boiled eggs so they will give me a few pastries for the egg , i said ok fine even tho im sure i would not eat the sweets because im on a diet but i try to be understanding, what really got me upset was how careless this salad looks. Looks like it was the ending of the chicken hardly no meat, hardly no blue cheese, avocado was old. Overall i feel like for a salad this price the person at the kitchen could of had some respect for my money and time.

This place is great for folks who have dietary restrictions. The menus is always labeled for gluten free, vegan, etc. there are plenty of options to choose from for healthy meals. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They are great at making substitutions on orders if there are some small changes that you want to make. The gluten free bread is one of the best. They offer a really great chicken quinoa soup & also some vegan options. You can also download their app and pay at your table from your phone and earn rewards. I can't say enough good things about this place.

Gosh, what a shame! My wife and have been here countless times, and LOVE it every time. The food is amazing, the team are always so nice. We have always LOVED coming here. Today will be the last time we come. I came in to order my wife a coffee. I walk to the register and nobody was there (totally fine, I can wait!). After about 30 seconds, a young woman comes to the register. She didn’t say anything as she approached (no ‘can I help you’ or ‘give me just a moment’) but fine. Then she has her head down for about 15 seconds (I assume logging into the register). Then she picks her head up, and is just looking at me, with a blank and rude expression. After about 5 seconds of awkwardness, I asked her, ‘am I ok to order?’ And she STILL REFUSED TO SPEAK. She instead nodded her head, looking annoyed. So, I ordered my drink. The whole time, she didn’t say a word - didn’t tell me what the total is, didn’t tell me when to pay, etc. Fine. Then after a few minutes my drink was placed on the desk. No ‘your drink is ready’, still not a single word. Mind you, I was the ONLY person in the coffee/bakery section, so she was not busy. I have never encountered anyone like her here, or really anywhere I’ve ever been. We have been coming here for years, but any place that hires someone like her, is not somewhere I want to be. I told her on my way out that I thought her behavior was shocking, and she still said nothing, until finally muttering a very insincere ‘sorry.’ What a shame. Management - if it helps you, this happened just now, at about 140PM on Wednesday 1/29. Check the cameras, and you’ll see how your team treats paying customers. I can get a $7 coffee somewhere...

I wanted to have a nice breakfast this morning. I've never been here, was standing at the counter in line behind a couple of other customers. When those women were helped and left the woman who was helping them busied herself doing nothing. There were two other women behind the counter doing something, idk what. I'm standing here waiting to be helped, finally one goes have you been helped, I said no.

Are your staff not trained to greet people when they come in to your establishment?

I'd like to eat in, so she goes sit anywhere you like. The tone was dismissive and snotty with a smirk. I looked at her said nothing and was about to go sit and immediately changed my mind, and left. Her tone of voice and attitude towards me was a turn off, and unwelcoming. Why should i spend money in a restaurant where staff speaks to me that way?

I've never eaten here and you would think me saying I'd like to dine in would be a QUEUE that I don't know how things work in here because it's not like there is a hostess greeting you. But I realize that it's asking too much for people serving the public to have any customer service values trained into them. Thanks...

I was there around 1pm on 01/22/2025 and I won’t be back. I bought some pastries and they were good, but the cashier lacked personality and seemed bothered by my presence and presence of customers. I spent close to $30 and she just looked at me without saying a word, rang me up and pushed my bag toward me. She did not greet me at our first encounter and just kept serious. No “thank you” or “have a great day.” For the price they charge, I would not bother going there because the impression that I perceived is that they don’t care if you go there or not. To the cashier: Remember that it’s customers who help the shop stay in business and help you to continue to have a job. If you don’t want to be bothered with customers, find a job where you do not have contact with customers. A simple hello or even a thank you / have a nice day would have been meaningful. First time there and I won’t be back. To management: Look at the reviews because many are stating that service is lacking. Make some changes and hire employees who actually want...
