You need to pay $10 for parking. Obviously, you need to take a walk around 10 to 15 minutes to get to beach. It costs $4 per person to enter to the beach. Dogs are not allow into the water, mine is a service dog which was allow to be at the beach. However, I encountered several uneducated people making a big problem because of the dog. Too many people, not worth it.

This is nice for kids because it has no waves, filled with rocks and nice background music It’s expensive they charge $10 for parking - then charge more money to swim in the actual beach $4 per adult and $3 per child. They told other parents they could NOT use there own life vest and other families were told they could not play ball in the water —very strict!

If you wanna enjoy relaxation in nature you should be ready to spend half an hour in the ticket line next to the really very loud speaker, which intends to give the music to the whole beach. It is very unpleasant experience for an adult and for children it is even worse. And yes the music from this speaker is loud enough to be heard in all places on the beach. And even if you find the furthest and the quietest place it is very likely music people will come to you. It was Friday, not even a weekend. In the result I was listening to the beach music plus two different music sources from my closest neighbors. Very natural experience. There is one small note at the entrance that the music should be on reasonable level. But from my point of view, the Beach itself doesn’t follow this instruction and neither do people on the beach. This place is for people who are able to relax in the noise even...

The beach experience is good, but staff are incredibly rude. My daughter and I were getting changed in the (filthy!) cubicle and a staff member came in and shouted extremely aggressively at us all to get out. Some clients understandably didn't appreciate being roared at so rudely! Then in the changing room a child couldn't find their family and another adult approached a staff member to let them know but the staff member didn't seem to care and had to be persuaded to help the child. It was a very unpleasant experience, especially when the life guards begin the obnoxious continuous blowing of their whistles to send any remaining people off the beach. What a horrible way to treat...

This is such an incredible place to bring your dog to run around on the beach and in the water. Since it is winter season now, dogs are let off the leash at the beach so they can run a muck. On a nice weekend day expect to see over 50 dogs running wild. NOTICE: ONLY friendly dogs allowed!!! DO NOT bring any type of socially stunted or aggressive dogs here. There will be trouble. SPOILER: when you’re first entering Rye Playland, right at the round about, go right...there is parking there. There are signs that say NO PARKING but if there are other cars parked there, you are fine. If it’s a beautiful day out, get to this beach early so your pup can have the time of...
