I went a few days after Labor Day so it was less crowded and quieter. We enjoyed ourselves for the most part. Of course it’s not like a beach in the Caribbean so I didn’t go with those expectations. The sand and beach overall were clean. The water was decent in comparison to other beach waters in NY. There were a lot of mosquitoes so that’s why I gave 4 stars but overall it served its purpose. I do like the fact that you also have access to Rye Playland, the boardwalk and other amenities. So that’s cool!

This is a wonderful place. Just the sand itself is amazing. Clean and Very well organized. Parking spot is right in front of the beach. Based on the reviews its pricey. So we parked somewhere else. Entrance is fair! $10 for Rye residents $15 for non-resident. Few mor things. showers are around with restrooms where you can also change your dress. Interestingly, there are some grill spots with tables just beside. Not sure if they are active but a great plus. Recommended. Will visit again

The park is in desperate need of attention. The bathrooms are horrible and the building structures need major repairs. Super said to see this!! It’s a huge embarrassment to the people of Rye and visitors. I only took bathroom photos here but if I would have walked around taking photos I would definitely found much more. Such a shame…I been to many countries and never seen anything like this.

If you are not a resident of Rye, brace yourself for an expensive beach day. Overall, clean beach and facilities ( garden, bathroom, shower). Life guards on duty, although I cannot imagine there being any real emergency considering that the allowed space for swimming is small and shallow. Bring insect repellent; the biting flies are nasty especially if you have open food containers.

During the off season a paradise for dogs, dogs lover, dogs owners, philosophers or anyone else who want a break… we can learn so much by simply sitting on a bench and watching how animals changes our way to interact and build a better tomorrow. Great spot to rest, to nap, to snack, to breathe, to think, to read, to zone out, to laugh, to learn or to love

Extremely pricey for non residents, ridiculous rules for non residents. As a non resident you can only come between the hours of 12 pm and 6 pm. Before and after that only residents in the area like Rye, Rye Neck. They do check ID so be prepared to be turned away.
