I love this beach! I went yesterday with my family and IT WAS SO FUN. I have a baby in my family and he slept so much bc it's so quiet and peaceful. The beach is not that big, but a good size. $10/per person that's 13+. The beach was so relaxing! The waves so peaceful. Even if u don't know how to swim, the waves keep you floating because of the salt. The water is cooly. In the afternoon the mess comes up to shore and the water becomes a bit messy. But in New York it's always like that.

I recommend this for you if you have a family. It's so fun.

Little side note: if your not a resident of Rye Town you will not always be let in, so don't be that sure. We had some problems a few weeks after this with my family not...

It's a great beach with calm surroundings in the evening. One side of the beach is very calm and the other side "the wavy" side is still pretty calm. Great for toddlers and young ones. The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars is because there is a fee to enter the beach. $10 dollar fee per person.

If you have a car it'll be easy to travel to.

If you live in New York and don't have a car you can still take the Metro North Stanford Line to Rye than take a mta bus conveniently located near Rye Railroad Station. Your choice of 0075 to Playland or 0013 to Tarrytown and get off at Rye Town Park.

They also have a great restaurant that serves a...

Very crowded, very expensive, very small and too many rules not allowing most of the things kids find fun (e.g. playing with a ball in the water, flotation devices). Also swimming is forbidden after 6pm and this is announced over speakers every 15 mins starting at 5pm. You are not even allowed to stand in the water with your feet. Unfortunately, the coastline is owned by the millionaires for their mansions, so there are very few alternatives. Kayaks can be rented but it is not allowed to...

Same rules in 2024. Very limiting for non residents. The resident only (Port Chester, Rye, Rye Brook, Rye Neck) beach does not allow non residents on the beach before 12 pm and after 6 pm. No rules posted anywhere on the website either. All signs when you arrive. And only know about the resident thing when you get to the actual beach after paying for parking. The booth does check for ID for the ENTIRE party if they’re over 16 and do not take cash. Card ONLY.
