Dollar Tree — Attraction in Clearwater

I've been looking all over town for vegetable seeds to get my garden growing and NOBODY had seeds yet! Come on! This is Florida and seeds should be in the ground by December for the first season for most vegetables. So I get to this Dollar Tree and they had just gotten their delivery of merchandise and the cases were just going out onto the floor and when I asked about the seeds the manager was so nice she opened up a case (which she didn't have to) and got out the display for me to go through for seeds and let me have at it before they even had a chance to go on the shelf. Talk about service. They all had a price of 99 cents marked on them and when I got to the register they rung up as 25 cents each packet! I got 24 different packets of vegetable seeds for $6!!! I give this place and it's night manager five stars for the wonderful friendly service, for being the first in the area to sell seeds and to beat out everyone in price by a mile. I've got enough seeds for a veritable vegetable farm now! Thanks Dollar Tree!!!

I have to subtract a star from this store due to the fact that for the third week in a row and on different days I came in and found half the shelves are bare of basic items I cam in looking for. In the past I have come in with a list of items I need and I end up getting almost everything and a few things not on my list. Today, out of 13 items they had two and the previous two occasions they had four out of 10 and three out of 11 items respectively. Everything on my list were things I normally buy at this location and have done so regularly for several years. If I didn't know better, and I don't, this store shows all the signs of going out of business without yet officially...

I had a pretty disappointing experience during a visit to this Dollar Tree. One of the employees was just plain rude. She was chewing gum, texting on her phone, and acted super annoyed when I asked her a simple question about where something was. She barely looked up and said, “If it’s not over there, we don’t have it,” in a really dismissive tone. At checkout, she didn’t even give me a bag I had to ask for one and when I did, she rolled her eyes before handing it to me without saying a word. think her name was Nakia on her tag while she was ringing me up.. I’ve shopped at this store before and usually have a good experience, but this time really left a bad taste. She clearly didn’t want to be there and it showed. Seems customer service not as good as it was some years ago, not always helpful. Some workers don't show interest in your issues or wanted to take time to help you or explain things so you understand maybe recent changes/ updates in phone operations whether a newly purchased or previously bought there. May consider going elsewhere in future. Not very satisfied with service currently, not sure what changed even with district managers. Have heard other customers loudly & holler for some of same reasons mentioned. Not always a pleasant experience, when leaving, a feeling of unsatisfied with being helped with your concerns.
