Sunshine Car Wash - Court St — Attraction in Clearwater

PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE. These people are not trustworthy. They broke my side mirror during my car wash. I have a brand new car and I ended up with a broken right sided mirror during the car wash. The guy on the other side of the car wash wasn't paying attention that the air pushed the mirror cover to the back and didn't see it falling underneath the tires. So two persons from outside were trying to save the mirror before it gets crushed by the tires, with him still looking away not paying attention!! I'm not sure if he was okay or not because he sounded crazy, he was actually laughing after he realized the incident and asked me to drive again for another car wash! Then another lady who sounds like a manager the came to push him outside the car wash in a weird way while he was talking to her. It was chaotic. So after all of that, I asked her for a poof of the incident. She refused to give me anything except a paper that's attached here saying "the mirror fell during the car wash!" and when I asked for the place's stamp, she said they don't have one!! So I asked to speak with someone else, she said the owner is out of the country and gave me his card as you see attached. She was so rude and refused to refund us. While I was talking to her, another guy drove my car without my permission to put it on the side, with my wife inside the car then he stepped out and put a blue tape on the mirror which I removed later. This was just an awful place and I'm writing this review to save you a similar terrible experience. UPDATE: I called the owner and he promised to take a look into it and reimburse after review. Never got back to me, doesn't answer phone call. The phone no they dropped here in the reply doesn't answer and when answered once, the manager said to call the owner again lol. She promised twice so far that this will get resolved but never happened. I'm not sure where the positive feedback are coming from, but definitely not true. These people are not trustworthy. Another Update: The owner reached out to me more than a month ago and offered to replace the broken side mirror after admitting the mistake. Then he asked about available places around me to replace it then stopped answering my messages and calls! Like I said, these people aren't trustworthy and wouldn't keep their words after damaging your car. An update: 02-14-2024 This place is a scam. They are rude and you can't trust them. They broke my side mirror and the owner admitted that but never fixed it. I wish I called the police and reported that before leaving the field. I went to this car was today for an interior cleaning that was quoted to take 30-40 minutes. Over an hour and a half later I asked the front desk if they could check on my jeep since it was double the time estimate I was given. When I finally was able to go out to get my jeep and everything looked OK although the woman that was cleaning the outside of my car looked a little nervous. I wasn’t really sure what was going on but I got in the car and pulled away. As I was driving down the street I notice a crack over my speedometer and the plastic that covers it. I tried to rub at it with a cloth thinking maybe it was just some leftover cleaning fluid. I felt it with my finger and it almost felt like there was clear glue on top of a crack that hadn’t been there before the car wash.

As you can imagine I was very upset and drove back to the car wash to speak to a manager. There was a woman that came over to my car and demanded my keys and hopped in my car and started accusing me of putting glue on the crack and saying that it was there before I got there. There was obviously no arguing with this woman so I went inside and spoke to the person behind the desk. I left my information for the owner who supposedly was not there that day. I was shocked and horrified by the treatment of the manager there. I mean it’s not like I have the time to go around to car washes with a new 2020 Jeep trying to scam them I could believe how rudely I was treated. I am leaving this review to warn anyone else who might be thinking of going there.

Also, while I was waiting for my car I saw one of the managers come inside and tell a lady that she had a crack in her Volvo and he lead her outside to take a look. I didn’t hear where the crack was but the owner needs to be accountable for the damages his workers are inflicting on...

Avoid this place for auto detailing. Dropped our mint condition truck here on a Tuesday for a 190-dollar auto detail. Sun roof and everything else was working perfectly that morning. The evening after we picked it up we noticed the weather stripping around the sun roof had been ripped off on both sides, clearly someone had tried to force it open instead of using the automatic open/close button. Called them both Wednesday and Friday to talk to the manager or owner (Thursday wad thanksgiving) and never got a call back, so we stopped by Monday and were treated very rudely by Stephanie the manager who claimed her staff never opens the sun roof and that she was out there the whole time to supervise, which was a flat lie as I was waiting inside the reception with her for 1.5 hours. Then she accused’s us of not calling them right away to notify them of the damage. The day before the appointment and the day of the appointment she wad on the phone the entire time on personal calls. She claimed she was going to call the owner and call us back but she never did. This place is probably fine for a simple car wash but do not get detailing done here, or waxing. Our car was full of spots. We had to take our car to the dealership to get repaired (300 dollars) where they confirmed the weather stripping had been manually ripped off by forced opening.
