Review: No RGB & That’s okay by me

Firstly, all the positive reviews about Device Doctorz, pricing, customer service, and quality of service have been true in my experience. I’ve used them to fix my personal laptop and phone and have always been pleased with everything.

Now, about this review, I recently needed a serious upgrade to my tech to meet my demands and did some shopping around but couldn't find what I was looking for. Long story short I spoke with Device Doctorz and discussed with Jett, the technician responsible for this amazing build, the specific requirements, adaptability, and versatility I would be demanding from this machine now and in the years to come.

I love, love, love that I was able to select each and every component and that Jett was hands-on ensuring all parts were received timely, providing me updates as needed, and taking ownership of the experience. I would even say the level of enthusiasm in his voice and that of the team who worked on this build matched my own. That level of passion came through in the quality and caliber of craftsmanship that went into this build, but we’ll get to that in a minute. Let's talk PC Specs:

Now for anyone hoping for a light show..that’s not this build. This PC was built to serve a wide range of functions, including content creation, music recording, and gaming, with the potential for future streaming capabilities, I placed a considerable amount of energy on efficiency and opted to put the extra dollars in other places. I have had it in my hands for nearly a week and couldn't be happier with it thus far. I can seamlessly run multiple applications in the background while editing for work with no lag whatsoever. The CPU & GPU perform nicely together when creating content as well as gaming. There is lots and lots to learn as this is my first AMD PC but there are plenty of awesome videos and tutorials on all that stuff.

With the RAM and storage of this beast, I have ample resources for my projects and plenty of space to store them. It runs nice and quiet until I load up Starfield LOL, but in all seriousness in terms of the performance and craftsmanship of this sweet rig, every component was skillfully installed with precision, and the cable management is nice and certainly way neater than anything I would have been able to tie up with zip ties.

Jett, Matt, and the team at Device Doctorz really made a dream come true. The team remains incredibly responsive and willing to answer some additional questions for me post-build. My Dad and I entered the Device Doctorz location in Downtown Clermont. It may be that my niece was with me as well. While making the arrangements to pay for my phone's repair. Upon doing this, the terms and conditions of the business' willingness to repair a device appeared with words indicating that the sale was made with the recognition that the device was one's own. I promptly mentioned this to the cashier or repairman my Dad and I spoke with. He then stated that one could have someone pay for the repair despite them not owning the device provided they had consent of the owner. I had provided my Dad consent at that moment by formally accepting his request to pay for my inactive cellular phone's screen repair. We had already agreed that he would pay for said repair long before arriving to the Device Doctorz location in Downtown Clermont. Forgive me as my Dad's specific words are not coming to mind at the moment. If I at all misheard either him or the repairman, my apologies. For what it is worth, the repairman never stated this rule to me prior to my Dad making the sale, at least not from what I remember hearing. Please know that I in no way intended to violate the terms and conditions of his repairing my cellular phone device nor did I intend to violate state or federal legislation by allowing him to pay for this repair. Similar agreements have not been made in the past despite my parents having agreed to help meet the monthly payment for a car in college, something they did sporadically. At no point would either my Dad or I agree to make a payment with someone else's consent unless we knew we were not breaking the law in doing so. My review is pretty honest; the first time I there, the staff are friendly and professional people. The one thing that may have bothered me a little was the price; I was a little bit unaware of how much the cost would be to fix my computer. Until I received my laptop and saw the price, I don't know what went wrong with my computer. All I know is that kept freezing up, and it giving me trouble for me to get into my desktop was the reason why I gave them to fix. The problem was uncertain, so they ended up resetting it, which is fine. Now, after a day, I received my computer, I notice a couple of things that I am having problems now that I did not have before. I am having difficulty trying to set my desktop; it keeps defaulting back to the sign-in page; the browser I am trying to use is google chrome, so I decided to remove the ask.com for research purposes. The search bar still maintains on the ask.com, so I gave up on that. Last was the audio; the majority of my courses are online and require a lot of videos to be watched. I cannot hear any sound from my computer, so I assume it was probably the video I was watching from my course. So I tried going on YouTube to play a video to receive some audio, and I did not get any. So I went into my settings to check why I cannot hear anything from my computer, and it was set on headphones; I tried to remove it, but it's there by default. I do not think I will be coming back because I do not want to go through another problem with the laptop to developed another problem to where I would be unsure of what the...
