Steelyard Commons — Attraction in Cleveland

I haven't shop there in a long time, Not since the new remodeling. It was very very clean,and even had sales people help me find things,that is different. Am a Senior, and even living close,and the RTA Senior Bus,that comes to Our building, A lot of us Senior just never went,but a few of us went Friday June 8th, 2018.And were very impressed how clean and helpful the people on the floor were,Our only comply was the check outs,There only 2 Registers open that time of day,around 2.So a couple of us were going to try the check out you do yourself, we were not sure about using our bank cards, there were 3 ladies just standing there doing nothing but talking, One of my friends asked, the one girl told us how to do it,but never none of the girls walked over to do it for any of us,Were from the old school,and was afraid of losing our bank cards, so we just went and stood in line. That is the only complete the 10 of us have,how very rude some of the register people are. We 10 are going back next week,but my granddaughter is taking me and couple more people, She said she'll show me how too use my bank card,in the check out you do yourself. I never carry cash,when shopping ,especially the first part...

That was the most help I've ever had in the hot water tank section dude knew exactly where everything was and gave me all the correct stuff I needed. As far as the other workers at cash out they all sucked I had to carry the hot water tank by myself no one asked me if I needed help at least a nice customer helped me put it in my vehicle..and the lorain home depot sucks I hate going inside there the customer service is terrible the isles are always piled with nonsense. I spend thousands of dollars a month there for my jobs and the return process is terrible I had to return 3 little cases of flooring the other day and I had forgotten the receipt it was only 90$ and the chick literally gave me an attitude because I wanted store credit to get a few different tools for a job I was doing .and she could have looked up the receipt on file it was a 900$ phone call purchase which I know for a fact is on file and she gave me the worst attitude ever after I spend at least 5000$ a month in that store ..overall the customer service at any home depot i go to sucks .unfortunately they have things I need so im forced...

I like steelyard Commons in that they have a lot of stores and they're close to me It's not the prettiest little shopping area like you'd find in Brooklyn or Palma just basic all the stores are lined up on one side they don't have any trees or planters or anything but it serves its purpose Dollar tree I understand is open till 10 now I like that I wish Walmart was open at least till midnight I loved when they were open 24 hours but now they close at 11:00 Walmart's new self checkout is abominable they were good with just the self-checkouts they had now they added like they made a triple the amount there's nowhere to put your grocery bags I don't know what they're trying to do not have any people as cashiers or what but I don't like the new system they just put in Gates that you aren't supposed to walk out of you have to leave the store going through either the cashier check out or the self checkout where as you used to be able to just walk out the same way you came in but that didn't stop a bunch of teenagers from running out the door with a few bicycles...
