I went to this location today and from the time I walked in the door the representative was extremely deceptive. I asked to purchase a preowned XBOX series X. He says sure there's a deal right now where you can get it for $436 with a pro membership. I said I dont want to subscribe to anything I just want to buy the console and the new NCAA game. He says the pro membership would be free (which I know is not true). He then says if you're buying the preowned one you have to buy the bundle with headphones for $39. I requested a manager because that made absolutely no sense to me. The assistant manager comes out to say I can do a pick up order online if I o my want to purchase the system without the bundle. I reiterated that they were making no sense. If there is a price listed on the console and its available to buy why would I be required to buy things I dont want or need to make the purchase. They then said I can always return it the next day. I reiterated that all I want to do is buy the console and game i came in for. We get to the checkout and he still attempted to add the extended warranty without my permission, thinking I wouldn't notice. At that point I just left and went a couple doors down to The exchange and was in and out in less than 10 minutes with exactly what I wanted and no extra hassles. I ask for the gentleman who was on the store receipt (hoping process go smoother) and get told he is no longer employed at gamestop. I felt a bias against me throughout the rest of my encounter. I get told my serial numbers dont match up to my warranty.... Hmm ..... Estafon calls DM after his power trip of telling me he wont exchange it (at this point im asking for help because i know i bought it there and the receipts in my hands). . . and get told to escalate it throught customer service but the answer probably wont change. I ask why dude got fired and i get told he was stealing and multiple other things.. . Seem like a coincidence? Instead of helping me they act like im the guy they fired ... we'll see what happens . Read moreI have never had any problems shopping at this location. The store is clean and well organized. Staff has been friendly and knowledgeable. This is a very large store compared to Vista Way store. I have been able to find most things here if they were not available elsewhere. The Used/Previously Owned selection of games and accessories is huge. Store is often busy and sometimes even crowded. You may need to wait for assistance or stand in queue at checkout even when the store is staffed fully. During the holiday shopping rush this store is packed, likely due to its central location...
