Cliff Park Florist — Attraction in Cliffside Park

One star for the male staff that works there, everything else was pretty bad about this place. The older Caucasian male who appeared to be the owner came off grumpy and rude, telling us not to touch, when we were barely touching the plants. We did take some time to look around the place, as we were trying to gift something to someone who already had pretty much everything in their shop. He didn't even bother to say hello or bye, and the female staff at the counter who also treated us like we were "less than," at the counter, acted like I asked her for a billion dollars after I asked her for a bag because I purchased a plant. Also, she said one price and the owner said the other in front of us, so prices must be inconsistent and based on their mood. We didn't bother complaining at the store because we had to get something at that point, and we knew we weren't going to return. We actually ended up spending $100 across the street at a small florist. Maybe the owner thought we weren't planning to spend much at his shop or he has a thing with Asians I don't know, and the atmosphere itself was very condescending there. Whatever amount you think someone will spend or has spent or not at your shop, it's bad practice to exhibit bad customer service, especially at a florist. We didn't feel welcome at the least, except for the male staff who actually apologized to us on behalf of the male who appeared to be the owner when he was outside as we left the store. Come on, it's the holidays, it doesn't cost anything to provide basic customer service or even a greet. There's plenty of other florists...

Have gotten better roses from shoprite for a third of the price, made me wait like 45 minutes in the store after ordering online watched ppl walk in and out who didn't even place orders ahead of time and then to top it off they didn't even put the card on the bouquet

Called and spoke to Anthony who was most accommodating and his assistance was second to none. He put together a beautiful vase of white roses and had them delivered with supersonic speed. When the roses opened they were even more stunning than when originally delivered. A job well done.
