I used to love this Burlington but not anymore! I don’t know if they’re under new mngmt but I was treated terrible and had an awful experience. From the moment I walked in I was treated very rudely. I’m moving and I saw a woman that had a stack of folded boxes, at least 4 dozen, stacked as she was stocking and I asked if I could take 2 or 3 boxes and she rolled her eyes, sighed and said “NO”. I said, “Excuse me? Why not? You have so many and stores always give boxes to those who need them.” She again said “NO”. So I asked a supervisor behind the counter who told me “NO” bc we need them. I was blown away. So then I saw a woman that looked like the manager and asked her and she responded, “Of course!” Take as many as you need”. I thanked her and told her the other 2 told me “No”. She just made a gesture towards them and said, “I don’t know why they said that”. Then, at checkout the girl did not greet me at all and when she put my stuff in a bag the side of the bag ripped. I asked her if I can have it double bagged and she said, “No I have no more bags”. Ok so what am I supposed to do if it rips when I bring it up the steps in my apartment? I didn’t say this but thought it. Then I asked if I could leave my cart to the side to use the rest room. She looked at my cart, turned and went to ask someone. It was so weird! Why are you asking if I can use the bathroom? Then a lady comes up to me and says, “No you can’t leave it bc customers need to get through.” Ok first off it’s 12pm NO ONE is there, second the aisles are so wide, with my cart pushed to the side anyone with a cart can get through! So then she said I can bring it around the side so I did. Went to the bathroom for like 3 minutes, came out and my stuff was in the back. WHY?! Then when I left they didn’t thank me or anything but just watched me. It was so awkward! Then I heard a customer go to the register and the girl said, “Hi! How are you!?” The exact opposite of how I was greeted and it was the same girl. To be honest this has never happened to me here and I really have no idea why I was treated this way. I was just so confused as to why I was being targeted like this. I’ve worked in retail for years and know what it’s like to have bad days but at the end of the day I always treated everyone with respect. I felt like I was being treated bc of the way I look or how I was dressed, I really don’t know but it didn’t feel good. I’m moving in the next few days and planned to buy all my home essentials at Burlington but now after this experience, I will never return.

Awful service. I went there today, I didn’t imagined the bad experience I would end up with. Priscila was my cashier today, she forgot to take off the alarm on one of my sandals. I got stopped by the security guard on my way out. Such an embarrassing moment everyone looking at me like I stole something. I even purchased my reusable bag inside the store. I went to reached back PRISCILA who totally forgot she took my order. PRISCILA didn’t wanted to take off the alarm from the sandals I just bought like 1 minute ago with my money, because I didn’t had the receipt. I left my bag with the guard while he continued looking inside it. 0 humanity. People need to be more humble now this days. I went back to get the receipt, and guess what? PRISCILA didn’t even apologized for her own mistake. Never going back to this location. Burlington I guess PRISCILA needs help to learn customer service the right way.

Marion and I stopped at Burlington last Sunday after our usual brunch meeting. I was hoping to find something for my bathroom, but became immersed in all of the Easter holiday decorations, and children’s clothing... some of the little dresses and jackets reminded me of the dresses that I wore as a child, bringing back many wonderful memories of growing up with my cousins ... if you get a chance, please stop in the Clifton store on route 3 and check it out...some wonderful options here highly recommend them. -------------------------------------------- My friend, Marion and I went Christmas shopping at #Burlington, in Clifton, NJ after our Sunday breakfast, a couple of weeks ago…I had just moved, and needed to get a few things…and oh yeah…did I…lol…the store was decorated for the holiday and I was infused with Christmas cheer…and the gifting spirit! Merry Christmas 🎁

I am appalled by what I have seen in this store today. When I first walked in, there was a woman in a blue shirt yelling at 2 employees about taking their breaks at that time. So unprofessional. I immediately walked into the shoe section and it looked like a tornado ran through it. The sizes were thrown all over the place. Literally thrown all over. I didn't even bother looking at the clothing racks because NOTHING was in order by size. I went into the home section. Another mess. And a far smaller selection than other locations I've been to. I headed to the check out line with my items and waited in line for about 30 minutes. While waiting in line, I witnessed the same woman in the blue shirt BERATING one of the cashiers. I later learned she's the manager, her name is Chutna or Chetna. She threatened to write the girl up while she was ringing up customers. She walked away a few feet and was still yelling at the poor girl. She was loud and completely unprofessional. She continued giving the cashier dirty looks behind her back. You could tell the employees are miserable because of poor management. I have worked in retail for many years, and as a supervisor for a few of those years. I have NEVER been spoken to that way by a manager, much less on the floor in front of customers. And I have NEVER spoken to an employee that way. The way she treated that employee was absolutely disgusting and embarrassing. On my way out, Chutna was leaning over the check out counter at the far end of the registers gossiping with three other employees as if the store wasn't a complete mess....

I came into this store today and it was truly chaotic. I found a couple of things and went to pay. As per usual the line was long and slow. This couple and their daughter cut in front of me which I let go because I wasn't in the mood for problems. What was not okay with me is when they started spraying aerosol cans that were merchandise, obnoxiously while in the line. I asked them why would they do that and they immediately started harassing me. I told management and they did nothing while these people even got in my face, trying to provoke me and calling me names while I was with my two small children. I'm telling them to get away from me and calling management and security who stood idly by, some even laughing. This unprofessionalism and lack of control in their store is disgraceful. I left all my items and will never return. I have never had this experience in a store and before Nura wants to leave a general comment on this review I want to say don't. Actually do something to improve this store! You will continue to lose business with this poor management and manner of conducting business. As I was speaking to one of the managers he simply said well some people are just mean. How about don't permit people to use your products while in your store? How about don't allow customers to be harassed while trying to shop. Is your security just for show? Very sad. Delete my frequent shopper, unsubscribe me, it's over for you guys. I went to kohls right after and had a fantastic,I would even say peaceful,...
