Harbor Freight — Attraction in Clifton

I used to love this harbor freight because it’s near my doctors office in Passaic and it’s the only time I leave my house due to my back and leg issues from 2 failed spine surgeries I had a few years back so I walk with a cane. But because of a very rude disrespectful and unprofessional cashier named DEJANIRA and most of the employees who work there that have no knowledge what so ever about the items being sold at harbor freight I’m soon going to discontinue shopping at this location. Very poor management and customer service and like I said before very rude disrespectful and unprofessional employees. I use a cane and I don’t have time to argue with these idiots so from now on I’m taking my money to another harbor freight.i shopped at this location on 11/27/18 when I had the bad experience with the cashier DEJANIRA and as soon as I got home from my doctors visit I wrote to harbor freight corporate about the situation and also included the transaction number from my sales receipt to prove my case but have not heard back from them yet. The management at the Clifton location is atrocious. I went in to return an item I had bought 30 days prior at a nearby location. (Mini tire changer) I had never used the item, but the box had been opened. A supervisor came over for the return, and decided to inspect the item. The supervisor proceeded to find minor manufacturing marks such as scrapes on the item. He then proceeded to tell me I used and damaged the item. When I showed him it was not damage but a manufacturing defect, he proceeded to call a manager over. The manager, I think her name was Sharon, proceeded to tell me that they are allowed to refuse return for any reason and would not give a valid reason to the denial. After leaving dissatisfied, I went to the nearby location where the item was purchased and explained the situation. They were more than happy to accept the return and agreed it was not damage but from manufacturing and the item was still in new condition. My experience buying at this store located in Clifton is the worst, the last purchase made this March 2025 demonstrates the mismanagement of the manager and his entire group of useless, idle and untrained workers who govern and do whatever they want, without following the customer service policies, they really have not changed in the least since 6 years ago that I used to buy there!
