While you can find everything in one place, the parking has been a nightmare to the point that I’m considering shopping elsewhere due to this, and security is a complete joke.
First, there are too many islands that are in the way, one of which sticks out far past the stop line that many people are hitting the curb, causing potential car damage. These islands also are in the way of just navigating the parking lot and should be replaced with striped zones instead, allowing for more spaces and wider traffic lanes. They should also add a second exit on the upper level to ease up traffic. the roadway by the post office needs to be widened also.
Second, too many people are spending endless amount of time sitting in their vehicles, especially in front of the Planet Fitness, a popular destination in the shopping mall. This causes further traffic jams and reduces available parking in what is already a very small parking lot. NJ has a no idling law. This should be seriously enforced by security so everyone has a place to park.
Third, security is a complete joke. There is only one Hawk Eye Security car for the entire lot that sits abandoned majority of the time. I’ve found it extremely rare for someone to be in the car, let alone someone actually moving around both parking levels , regardless of time of day. Security should be actively patrolling both parking lot levels 24/7 by a more serious security company like Allied Universal or Securitas, etc. similar to the nearby Promenade shopping center. How will someone feel safe leaving CVS at 1 AM when security is never there?
TLDR: good selection of stores, but the upper parking level needs a complete revamp and security needs to do their job by constantly patrolling so everyone feels safe, and making sure everyone doesn’t idle for hours so everyone has a...

Read moreThis place rocks. When I was a kid, (80’s), I used to go to Rizzuto-Berra Lanes and play their video games non-stop, now you know how Yogi could afford to live in Montclair. Then Bond’s for ice cream and Gaslight Records, for the latest Culture Club record. Sometimes, we got a sub sandwich, in the basement of Rowe-Manse. Guy with last name of Van Houten (first name?) would make them, and one time he gave me $1 off!!!! And dont forget the jelly beans upstairs, near the entrance. Loved the Watermelon ones! I used to take some and not pay for them. I was around 12, but this embarrasses me until this day, since I cant pay them back now that they don’t exist, I do go to my local candy store and fove big tips though. Finally, Five (5) big Stars for Nostalgia! (Please...
