This is medium size performing arts theater that is fairly intimate in acoustics and viewing. There is plenty of parking and the staff and volunteers are extremely friendly and helpful. My observations are based on attending the Benise concert held on 7/16/2022. My one criticism pertains to the seating. I bought front row seats (row A). If they are selling seats in the orchestra pit, there will be 3 rows of people in front of your front row seats and the sight lines will be partially obstructed. The floor of the orchestra pit can raised and lowered and it was raised up higher than the front row floor. The Benise show has a lot of intricate flamenco tap dancing and we often could not see the dancers feet. It's a first world problem I realize, but when you're paying top dollar for tickets, you should be able to...
Read moreI enjoy this venue, especially for ballet performances and the reasonable pricing for tickets. I'm giving 4 stars, however, because I had a particularly frustrating moment during a winter performance when my then 6 year old daughter was hungry during the performance. The concession stand was closed at the time and not one vending machine worked. We almost had to leave in the middle of the performance because we could not access a snack or beverage, using cash, coins, or card. I was extremely disappointed, and it almost ruined our special evening. I strongly suggest making sure the vending machines are in working order during performances, regardless of there being concession stands. They aren't always operating when someone needs...
Read moreOverall a rather pleasant venue for a show. More than enough parking with a short walk to the entrance. Concession stand is centrally located, with ticket booths at the entrance but not in the way of foot traffic. The acoustics of the theater have been properly engineered, and the stage is easily viewed even from the cheap seats. My only complaint is that while the seats offer generous leg room, there is no room for your elbows. Simply put the seats are too close to one another which can make long shows uncomfortable because the arm rests are almost...
